God changed Seventh Day Sabbath Worship to First Day of the Week

All the other 613 statutes, ordinances, and commands of the ended law of Moses, were also crystal clear, including animal sacrifices. The covenant you want to cling to, given on moint Sinai, is slavery and bondage Galatians 4:32-31. The Decalogue you cling to, is the letter that kills, the...

An analogy to illustrate God's sovereignty and Our free will.

Oh goody - you were able to work STRAW MAN.into the conversation - which is calvinism 101. Don’t forget to use exegesis, eisegesis , and hermeneutics, too. Shalom

An analogy to illustrate God's sovereignty and Our free will.

Faith is the gift that we get to grace THROUGH- and faith comes as a response to hearing the word of God, Romans 10:17 - instead of coming through irresistible grace and regeneration before belief can come, as John Calvin claimed. We access grace by faith, per Romans 5, and repentance is...

Why was Adam easily manipulated if man is made in God's image?

Thats a lengthy explanation, but Adam wasn’t manipulated and wasn’t deceived, but Eve was. Adam knew it was wrong to eat the forbidden fruit, but since his wife Eve was deceived and already ate the fruit, he also ate of it to share his wife’s fate, and stay with her. Otherwise she’d be banned...

Where was the church at Babylon?

Nice theory - except Hebrews states that Jesus Himself is mediating the new covenant from heaven. Heb 8:6 But as it is, Christ has obtained a ministry that is as much more excellent than the old as the covenant he mediates is better, since it is enacted on better promises. Heb 12:24 and...

Where was the church at Babylon?

So those who say Rome is the whore of Babylon that gets destroyed, are right after all? Hmmm... interesting. Maranatha

    Slaying the two witnesses

Elijah was translated alive into the heavens on a chariot of fire - so was Enoch. See post number 11 on who the two witnesses most likely are. BTW Moses’ body died, but he’s not taking a dirt nap with his body - because he visited Jesus on the mount of transfiguration - but having died...

    Slaying the two witnesses

Okay, let me get this straight: Two churches are clothed in sackcloth - like the OT prophet John the Baptist wore - and kill those who attack them by fire preceding out of their mouths, and two churches can stop it from raining, and two churches are killed, and lie dead in the streets for 3.5...

Up is down. Black is white. Grace precedes faith.

i can’t believe my ears when I hear a TV preacher who talks about the countless hours they’ve studied the scriptures, repeatedly say something so completely backwards that it’s staggering, especially because it pertains directly to salvation, thus is not a minor doctrinal error. I just heard...

God changed Seventh Day Sabbath Worship to First Day of the Week

The sole reason God took six days to create everything, instead of six seconds, or even 1 second, then rested on the seventh day - when He wasn’t the least bit tired or in need of a rest - was as a prophetical foreshadow of their being six thousand years, or days, between the first Adam and the...

God changed Seventh Day Sabbath Worship to First Day of the Week

A better question is, why wasn’t Cain put to death for murder, as the law requires, and why wasn’t it called a sin for Abraham to sleep with the maid, but yet David sinned when he slept with Bathsheba? Answer: the law wasn’t given until 430 years after Abraham, wrote Paul, and also wrote that...

God changed Seventh Day Sabbath Worship to First Day of the Week

Quoting from the law after it’s given to Israel which was not until after the exodus, doesn’t prove the law was in effect to anyone before then, especially when its talking about gentile proselytes who wanted to join the Israelites. There wasn’t a separate law for them - why would there be?

The two LOVE commands vs. the DECALOGUE (Ten Commands)

Too bad that the destroyed temple in Jerusalem is the only acceptable place to God for animal sacrifices.

An analogy to illustrate God's sovereignty and Our free will.

Calvinism’s bottom line is also backwards. In deformed dogma, regeneration has to precede grace, so they have regeneration/salvation coming before grace/faith, which is absolutely backwards. In scripture faith Stephen made it clear that the reason Gods own elect nation of Israel killed all...

Which method of execution is accurate and true? A or B?

You posted a lot of words that are not proof that Jesus is or was an angel

God changed Seventh Day Sabbath Worship to First Day of the Week

I have no problem if someone keeps the sabbath because they prefer it. There’s no days required to be kept in the two love commands in effect today. We could keep Tuesday or Thursday, etc, it matters not. My objection is when they say it’s required to be kept, and is a sin not to. Shalom Aleichem

God changed Seventh Day Sabbath Worship to First Day of the Week

Things have changed today I doubt any synagogue today would invite anyone to visit to preach that Jesus is the Messiah. According to Acts they barely tolerated it back then. Shalom

The two LOVE commands vs. the DECALOGUE (Ten Commands)

They also can’t have any fires in their habitations on the sabbath - meaning no heat in winter in Siberia if you lived there, and no hot water heater either - which was not a problem for Israel in the desert, who were the only ones given the law and sabbath day command. And of course an...

The two LOVE commands vs. the DECALOGUE (Ten Commands)

Try reading 2 Corinthians 3 which completely refutes your claim. Paul starts out saying the apostles are ministers of the new covenant, not of the old - then he contrasts the ten commands which he states are the letter that kills, the ministry of condemnation and of death, “received by Moses...

Christ only died for past sins...

That’s not what Paul says over and over again - but that’s what it says in the proof-texted version of grace that is out of context and ignores the dozens of scriptures warning believers not to go back to living in sin again. Reminds me of how universalists proof text their way into all...
