I meant to reply to this before, but got time crunched. I also haven't read the replies to the OP (sorry, time crunch). My view / my denomination's view on the after life / this subject is different than other Christians. It's not you die, then God send you to heaven or an eternal barbecue...

Do you remotely care how glaringly inaccurate and inappropriate you are being right now? Such isn't remotely "defending truth". We can be disciples of Christ without flaming others and instead taking the time to understand & love them. Remember how Christ treated even tax collectors?

That's a prideful and horrible display. No one is asking you to keep worshipping the Lord. The health issue is real. As to whatever happens long term: we'll cross that bridge when it comes, whatever it is. There will be saints supporting each other, it whatever form.

Just because you yourself didn't come to Christ while sitting on pew A doesn't mean there aren't others that did.

SDA and Catholics are both Christians, with different understandings of certain parts the of the Gospel. Neither them holding those beliefs or sitting in an organized pew doesn't somehow un-make them a disciple of Christ.

No one is saying that any body besides Christ is the way to salvation! But there can indeed stile His disciples on the earth congregating together. That celebration of Christ doesn't remotely take away from Christ Himself.

So your objection isn't really "denominations" at all. Jus that you have not found you that you believe teaches correctly -- which is a understandably really hard place to be in, and my heart goes out to you.

Completely and passionately disagree with you there. YES!!!!! Totally! But there is ZERO evil about having something organized.

Having your butt on a certain denomination’s bench won’t save you, true. But having a denomination is also not a bad thing, nor is it something to be avoided.

I get what you're getting at here: and such individually seeking the Lord is indeed the foundation of wisdom and the deepest happiness. I do see it separate from the topic of denominations, though.
