We use gender terms because it's the only way we can separate the genders. We ascribe gender to God because of our limitation. What I'm saying is that ascribing genders to God as we understand them is limited and flawed. God is Spirit and does not have a penis or a vagina.....yet both characteristics/ qualities/ motivations are embodied in God.
