How to Effectively Study and Interpret of the Bible

Wouldn’t the best way to study the Bible be to believe it’s the inspired word of God and every word means exactly what it says?

    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

My point was that Jesus wore a wreath of thorns on his head. stephanos From an apparently primary “stepho” (to twine or wreathe); a chaplet (as a badge of royalty, a prize in the public games or a symbol of honor generally; but more conspicuous and elaborate than the simple fillet, G1238)...

The battle of Gog and Magog does not happen until after the thousand year reign of Christ

How do you figure there will ever come a time when “whosoever shall call upon the Lord shall be saved” is no longer true? The phrase "times of the Gentiles" refers to a period of time where Jerusalem will be under Gentile control or influence, and it will continue until a specific point is...

    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

The rider of the white horse is clearly Jesus. The bow represents Gods covenant. Jacob a type of Christ wore a coat of many colors. Jesus rose into Jerusalem on an ass which is in the horse family. Jesus wore a crown of thorns. The crown in Revelation is a stephanous crown which is a woven...

The battle of Gog and Magog does not happen until after the thousand year reign of Christ

Amen brother! Those are the words we are to comfort one another with, that is our blessed hope. Tit 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; I don’t think many people will relate that verse to Stephen.

The battle of Gog and Magog does not happen until after the thousand year reign of Christ

@rwb The best example of a Christian leaving this world is Stephen. Before anybody laid a hand on Stephen, Stephen being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God

The battle of Gog and Magog does not happen until after the thousand year reign of Christ

Correct, God is the God of the living not the God of the dead. All believers leave this world the same way, God takes the soul to heaven, whether it was the OLD heaven (Abraham's Bosom) or the NEW heaven (the place Jesus prepared for us). This should be understood and accepted because of this...

The battle of Gog and Magog does not happen until after the thousand year reign of Christ

Bodies die when the soul leaves. We are not the body, we are a living soul experiencing this life in an earthly body. When it's time to go home to be with the Lord, God takes us and the body falls to the ground. This is exactly what happened to Enoch. Hebrews 11:5 (KJV): "By faith Enoch was...

The battle of Gog and Magog does not happen until after the thousand year reign of Christ

Yes. The mystery was finished when everything written in the Old Testament was fulfilled.

The battle of Gog and Magog does not happen until after the thousand year reign of Christ

Doesn't this verse along with the verses following it prove it? Jesus is very clear that he's talking about going to minister to the spirits in prison. John 5:25 (KJV): "Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and...

    When was the A.O.D fulfilled?

I’m aware of that view but I can’t remember anybody tying that to verse 26. How do you reconcile it? Luk 16:26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

The battle of Gog and Magog does not happen until after the thousand year reign of Christ

I’m saying that the only group in history that could have possibly been considered the dead in Christ was the Old Testament saints because they were still dead in their sins when they left this world. Believers in Christ don’t die, we have eternal life and will never SEE death of any kind. We...

The battle of Gog and Magog does not happen until after the thousand year reign of Christ

Isn’t the context of “time no longer” meaning the time of waiting for the mystery of God to be revealed is over? Rev 10:6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the...

The battle of Gog and Magog does not happen until after the thousand year reign of Christ

I assume you believe the last day is the last of earth, if so that goes against Ecclesiastes 1:4 where it says “the earth abideth forever”. I used to believe that way too until I finally figured out “the last” was the last day Jesus was in the heart of the earth, in other words resurrection day.

The battle of Gog and Magog does not happen until after the thousand year reign of Christ

I agree with most of that. Where I differ is I believe the OT saints were given their glorified bodies when Christ rose from the dead.

The battle of Gog and Magog does not happen until after the thousand year reign of Christ

I can’t prove this but the evidence is overwhelming in my option that the last trump was the voice of Jesus during his ministry. I’m pretty sure the idea of the last trump comes from this foreshadow. Num 10:2 Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou...

The battle of Gog and Magog does not happen until after the thousand year reign of Christ

According to this verse Christ was not the only one that was raised at the resurrection. 1Co 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. Christ is the the first fruits (plural) of them that SLEPT. This is saying that those who were sleeping are...

The battle of Gog and Magog does not happen until after the thousand year reign of Christ

I agree it looks like those are physical resurrections but I think those in verse 4 are the Old Testament saints that rose with Christ and the ones in verse 5 are the Old Testament saints that didn’t rise with him. I’m not saying that’s the way it is but that’s what it looks like to me. We do...

    When was the A.O.D fulfilled?

Elijah,Enoch and Moses went to Abraham’s bosom because Christ had not made the way to the heaven where God is. When Christ came they were raised and ascending with Him.

Why was the Jewish controlled media so against Trump?

It’s called thesis-antithesis-synthesis. The MSM does what they do because they’re doing what they’re told to do. The goal is to divide this country to the point of civil war then martial law will be declared and the US will be a communist country.
