    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

For the record I don’t believe the millennium is future I believe the millennial kingdom is the believer living in heavenly Jerusalem.

    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

The men of Nineveh were gentile believers weren’t they?

    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

I agree with all of that. The kingdom of heaven / kingdom of God IS heavenly Jerusalem, those who live there are in the millennial kingdom.

    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

It doesn’t look anything like amils or preterist try to portray either because both groups ignore verses that don’t line up with their belief system. Think of it like this. The Old Testament uses shadows to represent a heavenly concept. You have to look at a shadow from multiple angles to get...

    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

We’ll Daniel 9 is the best proof but most people have been duped into believing 70 weeks is 490 years instead of 70 weeks so that the commandment is to rebuild earthly Jerusalem instead of to build heavenly Jerusalem.

    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

There will never be peace on this earth, peace on earth is only found in Gods “holy mountain” which is heavenly Jerusalem. Isa 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

I completely agree and each of the passages about the millennium and heavenly Jerusalem give clues as to what the millennial reign is, how long it lasts and when it will happen. There’s no way to understand the millennial reign without reconciling all of those passages and when you do it’s...

    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

One of the main purposes of Jesus coming was to do away with earthly Jerusalem and bring in heavenly Jerusalem.

    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

The two aren’t parallels, they’re different aspects of the millennium. Zechariah’s focus is on the destruction of earthly Jerusalem to bring in heavenly Jerusalem. Revelation 20’s focus is on the resurrection that took place when heavenly Jerusalem replaced earthly Jerusalem.

    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

Zechariah 14 is another good one. Basically anywhere you see positive comments about Jerusalem in the Old Testament it’s referring to heavenly Jerusalem in the millennium.

    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

I would agree. And that leads to Jeremiah 33 which is also about the millennium.

    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

For sure! The only question is when is it. In my opinion the timing is given in verse 10. Isa 11:10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

Isaiah chapter 11 is about the millennium.

Daniel's Final "one week" of Daniel 9:27 Made Simple

In an earlier post you said Jesus did not start the greatest tribulation the world has ever seen when he died but he did and there will never be another tribulation like that. Most people aren’t aware of this but when Christ was crucified God came down from heaven and wreaked havoc on the...

Daniel's Final "one week" of Daniel 9:27 Made Simple

Do you believe the following verses are talking about David or Jesus? Psa 18:3 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. Psa 18:4 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid. Psa 18:5 The sorrows of hell...

    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

I’m tied up right now I probably won’t post again until tomorrow.

    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

No I don’t believe any of that garbage. Ezekiel’s temple is using earthly things to describe heavenly things. The temple in Ezekiel is the temple in heavenly Jerusalem…. “living waters” flow out of Ezekiel’s temple, living waters flow out of Jesus. Jhn 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her...

    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

All of Ezekiel chapters 40 to 48 is about the millennium. Ezekiel’s temple is the temple in the millennial kingdom.

    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

I believe the nations is talking about all peoples but for the sake of argument let’s just say that it means gentiles. Look around this forum and tell me Satan isn’t deceiving the gentiles.

    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

When you tell me “that he should deceive the nations no more” doesn’t mean that he should deceive the nations no more, there’s nothing more I can say.
