Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

Part of our historical evolution, was simply relaxing. What does relaxing do for our selection pressures? Do we need to compete over who is relaxing most?

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

Maybe its as simple, as asking "which do you evolve, good or evil?"

If you know that you are not going to commit a particular sin any more, you can move on to works that justify your innocence in that regard (selah)

Hi there! So as Jesus said "Wisdom is justified by her children" and there is the child who is faithful and the child who is diligent. Now having been faithful, there is always the temptation to sin and sin gets in the way of diligence, but if you have acknowledged your conscience that what you...

Physical addiction: two metaphors about proper physical conduct (as concerns desire).

Hi there! So after a little discussion with the staff at this site, it has been decided that if I can keep the dialogue clean, instruction in self-care (physically) is permissible. Now I can't tell you in detail, how it is that you should care for yourself, but I can point out wisdom, that...

Prayer against lawlessness (our times need it)

Hi there, So I am concerned about developments in the spiritual world. The Devil is preparing to ensnare men to the pit, and they don't have faith. The Devil wants to be condemned with men, but without faith. The faith is the crucial thing, because without it the spirit dies. Jesus foretold...

Unknowns, are better for science, than repetitions of what is assumed to be known (selah)

Scientifically speaking, we should prepare for evidence, by being in Awe of God. One's readiness for a piece of evidence, if it is self-centered, achieves little. On the other hand, great Awe can prepare the soul for an exceedingly great amount of evidence.

    Is believing/faith a work ?

What do you think happens at the Great White Throne Judgment? That we compare our faith? In part yes, but also in part our works! Stir up the gift that is in you! Part of it is already complete!

Before anything went wrong, the Devil filled with rage - in our time, this rage stops (selah)

Hi there, For some reason this message was deleted. I will just summarize. There are a number of beginnings in the Bible, and while all have their place, one in particular concerns our time. Though not overtly about the beginning of the Devil, Isaiah does talk about the Devil being beautiful...

    Is believing/faith a work ?

"His reward is with Him" (Revelation) What is "His reward"? Is it not in part the first of His works, already done? If you can copy Christ, is not your reward (in part the first of your works) also with you?

    Is believing/faith a work ?

I should clarify: the downpayment on your works, is paid in addition to your salvation. Ask the Holy Spirit "has anything been done to start my works for Christ off?" That's why mature Christians emphasize the priority of works; we don't want to waste what we've been given.

Just a thought: how will Saint Nick (Father Christmas) do, at the Great White Throne Judgment?

Hi there, I know I am stirring the pot a little here, but as believers we all have to give account of our works: I am of course referring to Revelation. My personal opinion, is that he will do quite well. He didn't just give gifts, but he set a trend of generosity and one that is albeit in...

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

The thing that gets me is, why are there not more humanoids, from different species? What was so special about the selection pressure that affected monkeys?

Unknowns, are better for science, than repetitions of what is assumed to be known (selah)

That's good if that's what it does, but I think the consensus is that we know and keep knowing.

    Is believing/faith a work ?

I said the salvation saves you, the works justify you. Because you are saved, you want to be justified. I didn't say "you have to do the works now", but at some point you will want to do the works.

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

I've actually come to the conclusion that what the world wants, is the glory they saw on the cross. Like there is a scramble in Hell, to be like Jesus, before the suffering starts. Weird right?

Just a word of advice: schizophrenia is much more manageable, if you aim less at change and more at consistency

It's just a way of falling out of touch with reality, but then reaffirming your connection to it at a later stage. Everyone might believe A and trust B, but the schizophrenia does not believe A and struggles to trust B while there is still time (that's what I meant by ABC BCD). The Devil takes...

    Is believing/faith a work ?

No, its just a fact, that in innocence (obtained by forgiveness) the two are distinct. Salvation is a down-payment, on what we are called to do. Faith is accepting the payment (and being diligent to justify it).

A mature Christian, makes work a priority (selah). Discuss.

Just to be clear: if we have faith, we either make work a priority or we make work a great priority. That's our choice.

This is a sign in Heaven: see if you can guess what it is? (Suggestions?)

Hi there! There is a spiritual breakthrough happening in my life, right now: I wonder if you can guess what it is? Can you guess the sign? It's like the sign given Daniel, also like the sign of Jonah. It's powerful and it's free. What are your thoughts?

In Heaven we can't tell what our sin was, even if we wanted to (and that's the way we liked it)

Hi there! So there are plenty of people in this world, who have sinned to the point, that they would rather be in Heaven, but they don't know why - that's what preachers with a word of knowledge from the Lord are for! They (these people) honestly would die for someone to make clear what the sin...
