    Is believing/faith a work ?

The problem is that once you have received God's grace, it's better to get going. Just sitting on a definition isn't going to bring God to a dying world. If you know that faith worked, make having worked a priority. Come to me a thousand times saying "I have faith" and I am going to say "make...

    Is believing/faith a work ?

If faith is a work, how great is that work? If Salvation is by grace, how great is that grace? We are not bound to one or the other.

The End is Better than it's Beginning

I Just wanted to point out, that the OP is right: Ecclesiastes says "better is the end of a thing, than the beginning thereof" (from memory)

Reasoning with God and the value of a Christian forum

I like reasoning about God, too. Something that always vexed me was the idea that "God knows you, better than you knew yourself" I have reasoned a lot about that (and actually I think God is on my side, He doesn't want people knowing Him better than He knew Himself!). A lot of the time I come...

The Day of the Lord, perfects the teaching and remembrance of the Holy Spirit (selah)

Hi! Wow! So I couldn't hold on to this without sharing, because it completely fired me up in the Spirit: We should be ready to stand, for the Lord, no matter how He requites our focus and attention. There is nothing we can focus on in this life, for which the Lord will not have an answer...

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

More mutation, for the same selection pressure, bears nothing - that's what I was trying to say.

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

It bears telling that something the Gentiles won't receive is "more mutation". If you take a mutation and try to mutate it, you don't find your Evolution is more empowered, you find that your Evolution is consistently as rejected. You don't find that adaptations compound, with the pressure to...

    Is believing/faith a work ?

Right and if we keep from making our salvation a question of works, then our works will be greater. It's just a direct consequence - first the faith, then the works.

Can I advertise (in a post) on this website?

An answer with patience, is far better than a word with no answer.

    Is believing/faith a work ?

Yes, but maturely: what does that mean? Which works? If the anti-Christ accused you of failing to defend the faith, would you say "works aren't necessary for me to be saved"? Or would you say "the faith is its own defence"?

This word helped me, thank you.

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

As long as you believe something, without giving other people a choice, you (your soul) gets sick. It's not wrong to focus someone on the choice you are giving them, but leaving them with no way out, makes you ill (physically ill). In this we must model Christ, that we go to the cross, where...

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

Balance will vary, but commitment will grow (selah) Which of these is more important to Evolution? You may never get more than more balance from balance, but the soul says "Grow!"? Varying your commitment, may create more integrity - trust that!

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

Part of working this out (the balance between Creation and Evolution) is identifying how we come into agreement, with what was already professed to have been coming. We are predetermined, in God, that can't change; but our agreement with how we are predetermined, does change. This is a mystery...

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

It makes sense to look at Evolution from God's perspective, I think. When you get to Heaven, does God say "I appreciate you, what you will be"? Or "no matter what you will be, I appreciate you"? When on Earth, does God say "now change, before I appreciate you"? Or "I appreciate you, now...

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

I think it was Martin Luther King that said "faith is climbing the stairs when you don't see the top of the staircase". I want some sort of confession like this, from Evolutionists? Jesus was prepared to be humble, why can't they be? If they don't, it will be more like "Evolution is assuming...

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

A gathering of preconfigurations, isn't going to evolve, because its preconfigured to remain preconfigured. The caterpillar is always going to become a butterfly, no matter how many times it makes the transition to butterfly. Understanding the connection between prepared and preconfigured...

    Imitation Humans?

Jesus said there would be people that thought they were normal, but that were actually living in sin.
