Pagan Tongues VS God's Real Gift of Tongues

If it's in a language I speak, yes. Again, we're talking God giving a person the ability to speak in a known language, not Glossolalia.

Pagan Tongues VS God's Real Gift of Tongues

I['m not sure where you're getting this impression. This learning (or just speaking) is done by the gift of God, not a person's solo power. It is to learn/speak in a real (native) language (Hindi, Spanish, ASL, etc), as opposed to Glossolalia. Understanding does require the Spirit, but...

Pagan Tongues VS God's Real Gift of Tongues

I'm not sure what's the distinction is you're defining between "natural" and "supernatural" here. The gift of tongues is a gift from God: it's not you doing things under your own power.

Pagan Tongues VS God's Real Gift of Tongues

With God, doing His work, it's totally possible. All heard in thier.native language. ( will write more tomorrow )

Pagan Tongues VS God's Real Gift of Tongues

Pointing out I've been actively studying "Mormonism" for decades (active member). Acts 2:4-7

Pagan Tongues VS God's Real Gift of Tongues

The LDS Christian ("Mormon") take on the gift of tongues isn't ritualized or unknown speech at all. Rather, it's viewed as the ability to learning to speak in another language, particularly to spread the Gospel. Like a missionary learn to speak in Filipino to preach in the Philippines.

    No-one has gone to heaven?

The belief is 3 different divine persons in 1 God.

    No-one has gone to heaven?

FYI, LDS Christians ("Mormons") also believe that Jesus is God, specifically God the Son.

    The communication disconnect

I totally believe that it's possible to agree disagreeably. And that doing such is important. I'm just also aware that the natural man inclination to argue and bicker is also real and most people struggle with it.

    The communication disconnect

Both believers and non-believers are likely to become hateful and insulting when they encounter a belief/position they disagree with. That's human nature. We can strive to overcome it (empowered by God), but it is a constant battle, including for believers.

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

Throwing mud around never makes anyone clean. And that's all I'm going to say.

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

Man the bashing here!!! Yuck, this doesn't bring anyone closer to Christ. Let's stop bashing Protestants, Catholics, etc, and instead focus on the Light of Christ.

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

In my experience most people whom say "I only want them to follow God/the Bible, no human teachers" only holds true until another person has a different interpretation of things. Then the tune changes to "no on- listen to how I explain things, not how you read scriptures or feel God calling...

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

So you're not trying to lead, and will happily celebrate another person's relationship with Christ, even when their beliefs differ in what you feel are important ways? Or will you try to correct such a person?

I've done my homework, I assure you.

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

I've done my homework, I assure you. I'm also just anti-bashing anyone, and very pro listening and striving to understand.

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

This part of your post I very much agree with. The rest there is disagreement. If all you want to do is state your feelings and be done, consider your mission fulfilled. If you want to talk about things (both listen, back and forth) let me know. So when someone is claiming God is speaking...

They are people striving to feed His sheep, as Christ commanded in John 21. Just like you.

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

^This is how every other leader is every other Christian faith (including those you disagree with) feels about their actions.

    Is Any Denomination Saved?

Catholics actually don't believe that the Pope is automatically infallible at all, and will acknowledge human failings of popes (past and present). Infallibility actually is confined to a narrow specific set of circumstances.
