    The Bible supports reincarnation

The easiest lightest recognition of reincarnation, comes in the passage where Jesus says John the Baptist was Ellijah.

Differences of Opinion vs. A House Divided

What I tell people, is that "we all die for the Lord". The Catholic dies a catholic death; the Baptist dies a Baptist death - but they are still "death in the Lord". What matters is what the Holy Spirit says - He that can hear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the Churches (whichever...

    Re: overcoming the carnal world

Hi there, So I have come to the point, where I have control of my desire, again. I had a relationship with someone in the world, and was lured to disregard my crown (which the Lord gave me). The person I was with, wanted to make it (the crown) something I did not respect. But I learned through...

    Legalism in religion

Legalism can only ultimately be fixed, with appropriate works. The core work that God does is forgive, all our other works add to that. We must be diligent in prayer that we escape carousing, drunkenness and cares of this life (Jesus), as if our forgiveness is a given thing (not something we...

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

I am at the stage, where I trust God, to give me the adaptive advantage over my life. I realise I can't improve enough to reach Heaven, on my own. The rest is trusting God. Nor do I expect Him to change everything, when He has already done so much. The power is up to God. I guess what I am...

God does not have a timeline.

You are extrapolating, when Jesus didn't. He said "day or hour" that does not mean "month or year".

God does not have a timeline.

We can't tell the day or hour, but that does not mean we can't tell the month or the year.

Any other Christians in here interested in evolution? I mean genuinely wants to understand it.

I get that, right? Everything about the theory makes sense, except that we came from monkeys and that mutations are a good thing. These two things, make nonsense of everything else. Monkeys don't keep making humans; mutations don't keep effecting adaptations. I just wish I could work out, what...

The Love of Many Has Grown Cold

It is my prayer that those whose love has grown cold, will still come to know the Lord.

Where in the scripture is anyone called to be a Christian?

This is the sort of problem you get when you start thinking that repentance is your "work", and that surrender to God is an afterthought.

Projection, identification, exchange, displacement, holiness, salvation, meaning, awe

Hi there, So there is a clear line of interpretation between what God did on the cross, and what happened at the resurrection. Jesus became sin. That is the short of it; but also, "that we might become the righteousness of God" (2 Cor 5:21). The point is that there is a continuity between what...

So confusing, but so good. I am glad someone out there, is able to think through these things!

    Re: thread on masturbation deleted

Unless you did it properly (without lust), you probably would never understand. It's something you do, not something you think.

    Help with John 1:12-13

Be careful not to assume, that repentance is your work. Repentance is your surrender, to God having done the work. The path of one way is surrender, the other is presumption.

    Re: thread on masturbation deleted

It's unnecessarily discriminatory: holy masturbation, is not perverse. I just need to know what angle they have taken on it, as I am utterly confused.

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

For me, it has come down to the notion, that I need to repent, for misusing Evolution. I wonder how many Evolutionists are in the same boat?

40 views and no reply? Can I get some accountability please? It has been more than a week and a half since I posted?

    A fascinating passage

The Holy Spirit just used this passage about blindness to inspire me, thankyou! The works of God are for life, not always for just a moment! (selah)

Is it possible that we ask God, for dreams that help save the lives of people we meet?

If you could just believe that God is able to reach people through your dreams, that would be great. As I said, I know someone who needs a dream, if you could seek the Holy Spirit, in relation to this person, that would be great.

Eden was established, by a pattern of Creation and Destruction. Thoughts?

Hi there, So I have arrived at the idea, that God established Eden as He said, Creating and Calling "Good", then allowing Change and Restarting. What I wanted to point out, is that this is a pattern. It is a pattern on the basis of the idea, that God kept moving through the Creation of Days...
