At what point does homosexuality become a sin?

Homosexual, the love of the same sex. That's what it means. Don't lose your cool over a word, Or make another one up? To me "bromance" is the same thing.

At what point does homosexuality become a sin?

The Bible says 'they loved each other, with the love that was greater than the love of women", if it was greater than the love of women, are you saying it was impervious to doubt? My point is not to contradict you, but to point out that "eros" and "love" are two different things - you do not...

At what point does homosexuality become a sin?

You don't need to call it a "bromance" when it is homosexual, that is the same thing, What you don't seem to understand, is that "eros" is not "compulsory"? Like I said, you can criticize people if you want, but if you do it categorically, you are almost certain to be rebuked?

At what point does homosexuality become a sin?

That's right, they did not have "eros". Now ask yourself "is it possible, that someone could be homosexual and not have "eros"?" Don't say "what's the point?", for some people that is the point.

At what point does homosexuality become a sin?

Are you saying David did not love Jonathan? Are you saying Jonathan sinned loving David? Make enemies of people if you want, but criticizing people categorically is a sure way to be rebuked? Ask God for Wisdom, say "if I loved a man, what difference would it make?"

Don't just crucify your sin, crucify your faith!

Hi there, So yes I have been dwelling on how to increase my faith, what to believe, how to believe it: what I have come up with, is that taking up the cross, is about more than just sin and the confession of it. What I have come up with, is that faith itself, needs to face the cross. Jesus went...

At what point does homosexuality become a sin?

The Bible talks about the love of Jonathan and David being greater than the love of women. That's two men, with love for each other. What is wrong ("sin" in other words), is violating that relationship (carnally). As the Bible says "[women] exchanged the ‘natural use for the unnatural’ and men...

Why belief in a god is an unfalsifiable claim that serves no purpose

Why does evidence have to be of God? If God is God, He would not want to be revealed except in secret? God being revealed in secret, does not stop you from evidencing change (in your own life). If anything that makes change in your own life, even more convincing evidence - God could applaud...

Christianity boils down to believing in the end, there's no other way around it

Something changes when you believe in God, that does not change under any other circumstances. Humility is saying "that change, is something godly"; wisdom is saying "I want to keep that change". If you can do this, then other parts of your life, will start to change as well - that's all being...

Why belief in a god is an unfalsifiable claim that serves no purpose

As I said "the evidence for God, is a changed life". If all the changes in your life, look exactly like you, your "god" is yourself. If all the changes in your life look like Jesus, God is your "god".

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

The Holy Spirit inspired me, with the idea that you have to give up something great, when you get to Heaven. If what you have in Heaven is more of what you had on Earth, that is Hell, not Heaven. As Paul said "we live by faith, and not by sight, for if we live by sight, what hope have we got?"...

    Re: thread on masturbation deleted

Hi there, I basically just need closure; why was my thread on masturbation deleted? There were no foul words, or gratuitous descriptions? As I said, I basically just need closure (I am happy to agree with your decision, I just need to know what its foundation was). Thanks.

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

What about this: when I put my faith in Jesus (His perfection) all my mutations became "benign". Now I am evolving for God (I don't need to delve into my past as a monkey, to serve Him). I am becoming stronger, more spontaneous and more discerning as I continue to praise Him.

Priestliness is the servant, but Prophecy is the master (selah)

Hi there, So I heard a great quote from RC Sproul "if the Church is busy about being priestly, the world will listen when the Church is prophetic" (paraphrase) I find there is a lot of truth in this statement. The Holy Spirit inspires me to take it further, though: priestliness is the servant...

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

I guess the thing is that if Jesus dies to His flesh and gives us to drink His blood, then there is no way for Him to keep us from the Evolution we want. We should be thanking Him that He made Evolution easier and lighter.
