Who Is "the Restrainer" In 2 Thess. 2:6-7

If the Holy Spirit is God (which I believe) how is the omnipresent One "removed"? If, as scripture says. there are saints present during the time of the tribulation, how is the church removed? Do you believe in two churches or do you hold to the idea that the church is a unique entity separate...

    Is God male?

I've already responded to the post as did at least one other courageous soul, but apparently we were edited out. I don't know where the bias is coming from toward your posts, but in the end God wins, so have a nice life and keep up the good works.

    Allah is the anti-Christ

Wow. One time, quite a few years ago now, I was attempting to share the gospel with an old gentleman in a nursing home and was asked the question, "Are you a rider or a walker?" Such a question may not make sense to you, but it definitely did for me, and my response was "a walker" which actually...

How are we to respond to these things?

Thanks Stan, I guess that being salt and light in the world is for God's benefit or the churches benefit and all that stuff about God's love for the world is just metaphorical. Foolish me for thinking that God places us here to make a difference.

Is Jesus the Son of God....truly or metaphorically?

I've noticed that the a few posts seem to have disappeared from this thread (the links are broken and lead to the OP), so was this your doing? If so, why the bias toward heretical views?

Is Jesus the Son of God....truly or metaphorically?

As far as I know, I only asked you one question. But honestly, I've seen absolutely nothing of you on this forum whatsoever.

Is Jesus the Son of God....truly or metaphorically?

The word hasn't refuted anything that I've said (anything said that wasn't intended to be sarcasm), just you. As far as voices in my head? That might be your thing, but the only voice in my head that I typically hear is my own internal dialog. The rare exceptions to that have been unclean...

    Is God male?

I don't believe that its necessary to learn to define what you already have, but when I figure out who Gid is, I'll try to learn how to properly exposit what he's written. Well all things considered, the world needs parrots too.

    Is God male?

Stan, there is nothing more personal than telling the children of God that their understanding of their Father is flawed, which you engage in with every single soul who disagrees with you. The truth of the matter is that there is no living soul who has something more than a flawed understanding...

Is Jesus the Son of God....truly or metaphorically?

Stan, if you say so, then it certainly must be true. My understanding comes from the Holy Spirit, as I've never trusted what comes from today's version of "biblical scholarship", but perhaps it's God's intent to set me up for a fall. Sure, I believe that (not.) I've actually taken the time to...

How are we to respond to these things?

Thank you for your gracious response and sound advice. Most of my ministry outside of the church has been in the way of letter writing, but my experience with profit motivated individuals has never been very good (which is a little discouraging.) Perhaps I will send a letter to the theatre...

    Is God male?

Only in the world according to StanJ.

Is Jesus the Son of God....truly or metaphorically?

Yehoshua is one variant of the name Joshua and I'll admit that I have no idea why there should be more than one version of the same name (though I suspect that they aren't the same name and have subtle implications built into the variation), but this I know, the Messiah predicted in the Old...

    Allah is the anti-Christ

I'm no defender of Rome, but a large part of the abuses of the RC church were in response to the invasions of the Turks of the Ottoman empire, the Moors of Northern Africa, as well as the capture of Jerusalem by Muslim armies. The expulsion of non-Christians from Spain in 1492 was seen as an end...

    Allah is the anti-Christ

I haven't made the claim that Allah is the antichrist, but I have identified Mohammed as an anti-Christ in other posts and I'm not alone in that: The scripture identifies Mohammed as an antichrist, because the scripture describes what an antichrist is. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a...

    Allah is the anti-Christ

Elohim was not the name of God, but a generic name for God in the plural form. The plurality confirms the fact that God exists as more than one person, i.e.: the trinity. The great "shimah" which is also from the books of the law says "Hear Oh Israel, The Lord our God, The Lord is One" and the...

    Allah is the anti-Christ

Actually Allah is the name of an ancient middle eastern god of war, their version of Aries or Mars.

How can we welcome the Lord’s second coming?

That's a very good statement and I'd like to add that Jesus will return in the same manner which He left, that is, coming with glory and in the clouds, not something very easy to fake. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel...

Is Jesus the Son of God....truly or metaphorically?

Yashua (Joshua) son of Nun: translates at Yah our savior (or salvation) son of perpetuity (eternity)
