Is The Sermon on the Mount Instructional or Informational?

Jesus, a minister to the circumcision (to you).

Is The Sermon on the Mount Instructional or Informational?

Actually He was talking primarily to His disciples, Matthew 5:1-2.

A Christian who deny Jesus is God in Flesh

I think that the only difference may be found in your perception of what I am saying. Could you rephrase the question, please, so that I can understand it better?

So what's so new about the new Covenant, and is it better, really?

Sorry, I don't believe in denominationalism. I go to a Calvary Chapel; and in my church we believe that communion is symbolic. And I don't think that we are missing out on everlasting life because of that. For salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. I don't believe that the...

A Christian who deny Jesus is God in Flesh

I don't see you as saying anything different from what I am saying, in essence.

Adam and Eve, The True Adult Story

After only three posts in this thread, false doctrine abounds...

So what's so new about the new Covenant, and is it better, really?

Unfortunately, the doctrine of trans-substantiation will, if believed, make a person dependent on the Catholic Church. So, what is to be done in those instances where the Catholic Church has departed from sound doctrine (such as in the view of some Catholics that Mary is co-redemptrix)?

Was Adam Imparted Free Will From The Beginning Of Creation?

Yes; and 1 Corinthians 7:40-b says "I think that I also have the Spirit of God." That free will is given to man is evident in such scriptures as Revelation 3:20, Revelation 22:17, Joshua 24:15, and John 1:12.

It might help if you provided a link to the post. You can do so by going to the post, and right-clicking on the post number at the top right of the post. It will give you the option of "Copy Link Address". Once you have left-clicked on that, you can paste the link anywhere on these boards...

Repentance is the Gift Of God !

If a man does not repent out of a free will choice, his repentance would have to be something that God does for him without regard to his free will to either receive or reject Christ. I don't really see that there is anything to discuss in that post. I have nothing to say about the post in...

What is : The Meat of the word

I have posted what it says in 1 John 2:27...that the anointing teaches us to abide. Personally, I believe that if someone does not have a circumcised heart, that righteousness may indeed be imputed to them (Romans 4:11). So, I don't think that I would post anything that is truly contradictory...

    Hebrews 10:26-31

A scripture that just came to mind. Jas 2:10, For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. Jas 2:11, For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of...

    Hebrews 10:26-31

In Romans 7:14-25, Paul is using the literary tactic of IDENTIFICATION (see 1 Corinthians 9:22) in order to define carnality in order that he might win the carnal person to a specific kind of faith...that walks not after the flesh but after the Spirit. Paul himself is not carnal when he writes...

    Hebrews 10:26-31

Make sure that you read 2 Timothy 4:3 before following any of the teachers that @Blood Bought 1953 has heaped to himself to tell him what his itching ears want to hear... To @Devin Wintch.

So what's so new about the new Covenant, and is it better, really?

Yes, the ten commandments can be defined as the ten promises. As it is written in the Psalms, Psa 119:66, Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.

    The common denominator

Since when did you begin to take an un-Christian point of view, @GerhardEbersoehn? If I remember correctly, your posts have not been un-Christian up to this point; But now, all of a sudden, you are taking viewpoints that are un-Christian or even anti-Christian; And, while I am concerned for...

    Hebrews 10:26-31

I think that you actually do read my posts but do not have an answer for my logic and reasoning; even as it is written in Luke 21:15 and Acts of the Apostles 6:10. Your only recourse, in order to save face, is to say that you are ignoring me; because you have been soundly refuted in all of your...

    Hebrews 10:26-31

Chapter and verse? I would contend with you that the Bible does not say that.

    Hebrews 10:26-31

I believe that you need to consider what is written in Matthew 13:41-42; Matthew 7:23, and Matthew 25:41. Mat 13:41, The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; Mat 13:42, And shall cast them into a...
