I once attended a Calvinistic Baptist church for 3 years and...you will NEVER see an alter call to receive Christ in their church's, never. You might once in awhile be invited to come up to the alter after services on your own for prayer or self reflection. But, not to receive Christ.

Because He is the only one who validates me, and He is truth.

Hi Wynona, Someone once said to me that you have more than "one" identity. Some identify as their profession, some as an active mom, their 'orientation'. I understood what she was saying but, as a professed Christian, I would have thought she would have put Christ as her number one identity...

Amen, God did not "hate" Esau. He is LOVE! He only "preferred Jacob" over Esau. He hated "Edom" the "Nation". That came from Esau's descendant's.
