    The Discerning of Spirits

You've made several assumptions. You assumed I was just asking for anyone to assess me spiritually when I responded to another member. You assumed I am trying to earn my salvation through works. Now you're assuming I wasn't saved in the past. This can all be easily overlooked, forgiven...

    The Discerning of Spirits

We won't agree. I believe we ought to stop sinning completely and pursue perfection in a Godly sense. A lot of people preach against perfection but if you look it up in Scripture, plenty verses actually support it. I don't think we do it all on our own but I just can't accept the idea that...

    The Discerning of Spirits

I have never said we do good works to earn eternal life as if faith doesn't matter. There are many warnings in Scripture about recieving grace in vain. All Im doing is working out my salvation with fear and trembling like the Word tells me to.

    The Discerning of Spirits

@PS95 Verses that imply effort. Strive to enter the strait gate (Luke 13:24) Resist the devil and he will flee from you (James 4:7) Ye have not yet resisted unto blood striving against sin (Hebrews 12:4)

    Is Marriage Worth It?

I do agree with this. It's not about constantly comparing who is doing what but supplying what's needed. Some days its more, some days its less .

    The Discerning of Spirits

How do you really differentiate works done out of love for God and works done to earn salvation? I love God or I wouldn't submit to Him. I wouldn't care about His requirements if I didn't love Him. I honestly have a lot of issues with the way effort is now seen by many as taking away from a...

    The Discerning of Spirits

We didn't have to do anything to receive salvation (Ephesians 2:8-9). But there are requirements to enter the narrow way. We have to endure till the end. We need to produce good fruit. We need to keep Jesus' commandments or we'll be guilty of lawlessness. We need to stop sinning. We need to...

    The Discerning of Spirits

Im not convinced I need to change this. Faith without works is dead. If we don't produce fruit, we are cast into the fire to be burned. Our core belief might be very different here. We remain in Christ's love by keeping His commandments. I do not believe works detract from salvation at all. I...

    The Discerning of Spirits

For a long time, I have wanted someone discerning to assess where Im at but I usually stop short of asking. Can you tell where I'm at spiritually?

    Biblical Marriage Mashup

Someone asked how a home-centered wife is even beneficial to a man. I'd like to talk about it. So the logic of the question goes, if a man can make his own lunch, do his own chores, etc what does he gain if a woman does this for him? I actually like this question. Of course, a woman today can...

    Christ's Most Difficult Command

God has changed the way my husband and I view money. We have been called to give in our means and beyond our means at times. The money is God's. He will take care of us no matter what. He is our security.

    Carnivore Diet & Lifestyle

I typically do carnivore with a lot of fatty red meat as a base. High fat seems to agree with me a lot. And red meat is actually very nutritious. I love Greek yogurt but I typically don't eat it on carnivore. So far, I've learned that my body prefers a lot of animal fat in a day. It makes me...
