    Do you hunger and thirst?

Wow, you have a lot to learn. Let's see if I can help. Galatians 5:17 has a publisher's error in it? The "s" in Spirit is small, meaning our own mind that has to learn the law, rather than the New Covenant when the law is written on our hearts as when born again of the Spirit when Jesus takes...

    Do you hunger and thirst?

A fake Christian willfully sins against God. They can't help themselves. A person can test themselves by checking out Galatians 5:19-23. Jesus has taken away all desire to commit those sins and given them the strength of the Holy Spirit, making them born again of the Spirit. Otherwise, that...

    Do you hunger and thirst?

Ignorant church fathers thought we could never be free from sin because our body was still alive, because they thought "the flesh" was our body of muscles and organs. But Paul refers to "the flesh" in a two different manners. Therefore, the context is important. The second meaning, Paul meant...

    Do you hunger and thirst?

I have found that my experiences have confirmed His word, that is why I was confused by your statement. For instance, when I physically felt a "heaviness" lift out of my body when I was born again, that is the "circumcision without hands" of Col. 2, when Jesus removes the SIN from our old man or...

    Do you hunger and thirst?

Like what? Can you give an example?

    Do you hunger and thirst?

Yes, we have such a close relationship and I know what you mean about His laughter. When I had pets I would go outside to call my cat to come inside before I went to bed. I would call and call and call and no sign of her. Then God would laugh and say in a sing-song way, "I know where she is."...

    Do you hunger and thirst?

I know what you mean. I'm always wanting more of Him and those "deep things of God." 1 Cor. 2:9-10. And He teaches me new things, which always makes me want more, never satisfied.

    Spiritual Gifts?

    It was a real cult.

    Spiritual Gifts?

You're welcome. There were other Gnostic groups, but one thing they had in common, I believe (could be wrong), is that "sin" is only of the spirit, and sins of the flesh produced grace. Read 1 John 4:1-3 again if you forgot where John spoke about them.

    Spiritual Gifts?

Yes, read Revelation 2 and read about the church ages of Ephesus and Pergamos. They both mention the Nicolaitans. God hated their sin. But Ephesus was the church age of the first century so that is why both Paul and John dealt with their beliefs head on. Some scholars broke up the word...

    Spiritual Gifts?

We can do that by studying the doctrines of the apostles. 1 John 4:1-3 describes the doctrines of the Gnostics, and in particular, the Nicolaitans who taught exactly what Paul spoke against in Romans 6:1 "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 Certainly not...

    Spiritual Gifts?

That would be like astral projection which is from the occult. However, Satan cannot create, therefore when you find a "gift" in the occult, know that God has already created the real. I assume that is what your flying and becoming invisible is about. Tell us where you went and what God had you...

I would love to go to one of his meetings. Let me know if he is ever in Tennessee. Thanks.

    Spiritual Gifts?

My eyes were opened by the Spirit a couple years ago, but I do not see auras around everyone, only the pastor and only when he is giving his sermon. I see either a bright white anointing around him, or a rich royal blue around Pentecostal pastors as they give their sermons. It shows whether or...

JESUS DIED ONLY FOR THE NATION ISRAEL

Have you ever thought that Jesus did both, and for both Jew and Gentile?

JESUS DIED ONLY FOR THE NATION ISRAEL

John 3:16 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 1 John 2:2 2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.

How to answer my son's questions

Knowing the truth is essential and believing in an all-powerful God gives us some hard truths. For instance, not you, nor your son loves to the degree our God loves. He loved you and your son with agape love so much He had His Own Son who embodies the Godhead, crucified the most horrible death...

DO YOU THINK OUR FAITH IS THE GIFT OF GOD?

So a Gentile doesn't need to receive the Holy Spirit? Do you believe in predestination and those Gentiles that are to be saved just receive salvation as a gift, and those who aren't are damned to hell? Is water baptism only for the Jews?

DO YOU THINK OUR FAITH IS THE GIFT OF GOD?

For the same reason John the Baptist came first preaching repentance. Acts 2:38 and 1 John 1:9 are both how to become a Christian, even though Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our FAITH. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all...
