    Sabbath-Keeping

The commandments that Jesus asks you to keep if you love Him (John 14:15 KJV).

    Sabbath-Keeping

Upp, it is pure nonsense to claim "we are not obligated to keep the Ten Commandments but we are not at liberty to act contrary to them". Of all the convoluted ideas I've heard over the years to explain why Christians don't have to obey the Ten Commandments (all were an attempt to justify the...

    Sabbath-Keeping

AMEN, brother! No where in Scripture does it say that Jesus would save His people IN their sin. The Scripture plainly says that He would "save His people FROM their sin".

    Sabbath-Keeping

"All Thy commandments are truth." Psalm 119:151 KJV You were saying something about truth seeking?

    Sabbath-Keeping

Axehead, ad hominem attack is the surest indication that one has lost an argument. If Christians are not obligated to keep the Ten Commandments, then are we at liberty to break them, YES or NO?

    Sabbath-Keeping

Are you incapable of answering YES or NO?
  7. Phoneman777

    Sabbath-Keeping

This isn't that difficult. Either we are at LIBERTY to break the Ten Commandments b/c we are not OBLIGATED to keep them or we are not at LIBERTY to break the Ten Commandments b/c we are OBLIGATED to keep them: OBLIGATION - noun: "Something by which a person is bound or obliged to do certain...

    Sabbath-Keeping

All I want is a simple YES or NO answer: Are Christians at liberty to break the Ten Commandments if they are not obligated to keep them?

    Sabbath-Keeping

The Bible says that we are to "reason" together. Is it not reasonable to ask people who claim we are not obligated to keep the Ten Commandments which of them we are at liberty to break?

    Sabbath-Keeping

Which of the Ten Commandments are we at liberty to break if we are not obligated to keep them?

    Sabbath-Keeping

I love Jesus and He said, "If ye love me keep My commandments." Matthew 7:23 does not say, "Depart from Me, you that work the law." It says, "Depart from Me you that work lawlessness". Praise God, there will be no lawbreakers in heaven!!!

    Sabbath-Keeping

You are confusing the temporary Law of Moses with the eternal Law of God which "stands fast forever and ever". If we are at liberty to disregard the Ten Commandments that you claim we are not obligated to keep, then say so, or otherwise stop claiming that we are not obligated to keep them.

    Sabbath-Keeping

John said, "Little children, keep yourselves from idols," which is a direct reference to the Second of the Ten Commandments.

    Sabbath-Keeping

So, you're saying that we shouldn't keep the law because it's a burden. I don't think that lines up with Scripture: "By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments...

    Sabbath-Keeping

Please answer the question. Are Christians free to disregard the Ten Commandments as long as they love God and love their neighbor or will they keep the Ten Commandments because they love God and love their neighbor?
  16. Phoneman777

    Sabbath-Keeping

So, are you saying that we may freely disregard the Ten Commandments as long as we love God and love our neighbor?
  17. Phoneman777

    Sabbath-Keeping

Which of the Ten Commandments does God allow those who love Him to break? Which of the Ten Commandments does God allow those who love their neighbor to break?

    Sabbath-Keeping

As a Christian, why would I deliberately hurt my neighbor through sinful actions? Jesus said, "If ye love Me keep My commandments". Question: Does it sound like Jesus meant to teach us that if we love Him, we can disregard His commandments?

    Sabbath-Keeping

You can't expect me to answer the question if you don't clarify it for me. When you say, "without the law", do you mean: A. "without a knowledge of the law" B. "having a knowledge of the law but choosing to ignore it" C. Something else Just pick A, B, or C.

    Sabbath-Keeping

What do you mean by "without the law"? Do you mean "without a knowledge of the law"? Do you mean "having a knowledge of the law but choosing to ignore it'? Or do you mean something else?
