God's Desire is that All Men be Saved!

This is actually false doctrine. Faithful doctrine dictates: Jhn 3:6, That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

God's Desire is that All Men be Saved!

@Anthony D'Arienzo, So, what is your fourth option? Either: 1) God is being arbitrary; 2) God loves and chooses people based on some goodness in them; 3) God chooses men based on His foreseeing of their choice that they will make concerning Him; or, 4) ___________. What do you place in...

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

Condescending... What do they get to do? Do they get to preach the gospel? Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are distinct, not separate; even according to the creeds.

    The year of discrimination.

Time will tell what the Lord was referring to...whether the discrimination He was referring to is positive or negative. In context of the dream it appeared to me to be referring to a discrimination against us as believers because of what we believe; that resulted in our going through suffering.

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

In Catholicism, those who want to be in the ministry are forbidden to marry. It is made to be a condition for being in the ministry that a man remain celibate. The restriction is effectively placed on those who want to be in ministry. 1Ti 3:1, This is a true saying, If a man desire the office...

God's Desire is that All Men be Saved!

So it is the third option. (the Lord foresaw their choice and chose them accordingly). Is there a fourth option proposed by your theology? Let me rephrase the question: why does God love some and doesn't love others? A "child of hell" would refer to someone whose nature is consistent with...

    The year of discrimination.

This is not politically motivated. I was dreaming and in the midst of my dream I found myself prophesying the year of discrimination in 2021, as the Spirit came over me. I am unaware of a positive connotation of that word...could you please let us know what it is?

God's Desire is that All Men be Saved!

Being drawn enables us to come to Him because we are disposed to run away from Him. It does not guarantee that we will come to Him. It is like being woken up out of sleep; and you have the choice of whether to wake up completely or lay your head back down and sleep longer.

God's Desire is that All Men be Saved!

Is God being arbitrary? Is there some goodness in the people He chooses that is not in those whom He chooses not? Or does He choose them based on the fact that He foresaw their choice of Him?

God's Desire is that All Men be Saved!

I asked this question elsewhere. Why does the Lord, in your opinion, choose some people and does not choose others?
  14. J

God's Desire is that All Men be Saved!

Being drawn does not guarantee their coming. Being given means that God saw their coming from before the foundation of the world.

God's Desire is that All Men be Saved!

Drawn and given are two different things. Those who do come, do not try to come and fail, that is true. Those who are drawn do not try to come to Jesus...they are disposed to run away from Him apart from the Lord drawing them. Those who are given come to Jesus because they were drawn and...

God's Desire is that All Men be Saved!

Can you give me Bible that tells us that we ought not to confuse foreknowledge with Omniscence? I consider that the Lord is outside of time and that so are we in our glorified state. So those of us who will make it are already in heaven worshiping Him. I consider, also, that the Lord...

God's Desire is that All Men be Saved!

But if they are drawn, they do not necessarily come to Him savingly.

God's Desire is that All Men be Saved!

Predestination is according to foreknowledge (Romans 8:29-30, 1 Peter 1:2).

God's Desire is that All Men be Saved!

Psalm 110:3 does not preclude "everyone" drawn to Him.

God's Desire is that All Men be Saved!

God drawing a man to Christ, and the Father giving a man to Christ, are two separate things. When God the Father draws a man, he is given the free and clear opportunity to receive Christ without hindrance: he still has a choice in the matter. When a man makes the actual decision to believe in...
