CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

I don't keep a list of members on this forum who have corrected me so for me to "adjust course" in a conversation with someone who corrected me 3 months ago is difficult. I think it is best I just use generic language instead of saying he/she when I don't know if they are a man or woman. If...

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

:jest::jest::jest::jest::jest: I never said never wrote never implied and never suggested that God wasn't "ALL KNOWING, PREPARED, and KNOWS everything, every thought, of every man." That isn't even what this discussion is about...

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

In the past I have assumed or thought the person I was communicating with was a man so I would use the word he in my responses to them. They would then say I am a woman so stop calling me he. Soooo I say he/she when I am not sure if they are a man or woman. It has nothing to do with me...

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

No, I do not thing that it was a surprise to God what that child chose. I never said that or suggested that or implied that. You are still very confused. YOU are suggesting that God made the choice to send that person to hell because God predetermined that the person would become an atheist...

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Yup, God intervenes in our lives sometimes. Yup, some church leaders "try to control people". None of that has to do with a person being predestined to go to hell.

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Once again, your confusion lies with you equating ones destiny to Gods knowledge of that destiny. They don't equate....

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Yes, you are confused because you are saying two different things. I am not making a spiritual argument soooo why would you ask me to explain spiritual things?....You make no sense taken.

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

You say according to Gods Word but don't give Gods word to back it up.... Patient Mary

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

If it's Spiritual give you Scriptural evidence to back it up..... Patient Mary

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Knowing the outcome is not the same a predetermining the outcome....That makes no sense and is not based on Scripture or logic.

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Yup, it was a question with a statement when YOU made the statement "you must be of the opinion". Stop playing games with me.......

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

A man and woman choose to have a child and raise them in a Christian home to be a Christian. That child then chooses to become an atheist and as an adult and they choose to renounce God. According to your theory God predestined that person hell. Your theory is bizarre to say the least.

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

God having the foreknowledge of what we are going to do is not the same as Him predetermining what we are going to do. Mary

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Which Protestant was "on the right track" ? Calvin? Luther? Zwingili? Wycliffe? They all taught different things and disagreed with each other on what it takes to be saved sooooooooo which one was on the right track Lizbeth? Curious Mary

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Since God knows everything, he had the knowledge that both drivers would be killed. God can also control the outcome of the crash and one or both drivers could have been saved by God. The person on top of the building didn't know both drivers would be killed. They could assume that they would...

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

That makes absolutely ZERO sense. Who is teaching you this garbage? According to your theory we can't know our destiny because it is predetermined by God. It doesn't matter what choices we make.......God has already decided the ending. And there you go again suggesting that we can freely decide...

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Just because God knows our destiny does not mean he predetermined our destiny. He just knows our choices before we make our choices. That is where you are getting confused and don't understand.

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

What a bizarre question. Nope, not of that opinion at all. I have never suggested that, wrote that, implied that or thought that.

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Huh? None of this makes sense. Can you condense all that into a few sentences or questions so I can understand it? Mary

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

I know I have a choice. But that is not the argument you are making. The argument you are making is that I don't have a choice...you are saying I am predestined. Being predestined is the opposite of choice. God knowing my choice does not equal predestination.
