No one is wrong to post any way they want. The foolishness was in me thinking my idea of compiling a list of various things we all thought made a Protestant would work without the thread devolving into the usual exhibitions of preaching.

Yeah, I was pretty sure we wouldn't be able to keep this limited to just simply short, declarative statements of thoughts about what constitutes Protestnatism.

In many ways, I did. But, I never finally understood some of those inculcated Scriptures until many decades later. And, I am certain there are still plenty of meanings that allude my understanding... despite the fact that I THINK I know what they mean.

The only two "ordinances" Protestants seem to recognize are Baptism and the Lord's Supper. And those are not given as to be done in any particular "ritualistic" manner.
