    1 Peter 3:18

Jesus had no need to be begotten in the spirit as He was Emmanuel- God i n the flesh.

Coincidences? Or Time to WATCH be READY for the Day and Hour Is Near

I ask you the same question! But it matters, for when God constructs a sentence that makes perfect sense as written, why should we not accept it? Especially in light of the fact that nearly everything not to be taken literally, is constructed in a way we can know without help from "special...

Coincidences? Or Time to WATCH be READY for the Day and Hour Is Near

But God communicates to us in waysw we can understand. God can use anything He wishes- but the odds are it was a scroll as those were what were used as "biblios" in teh first century and would be sealed with seals.

LIMITED ATONEMENT: US vs THEM (the L of TULIP)

NO NO NO. Propitiation is a sacrifice for sin. Atonement in the OT was a COVERING FOR SIN and in the NT the removal of sin. I agree it would be unscriptural to say Jesus removed all the sins of the world, that is why the Holy Spirit inspired the word propititiation- which means Jesus is the...

    Fundamentalist Christianity is fear-based?

Sorry, but you are reading that verse wrong! Jesus is the Savior of all mankind. there is no other Savior mankind can turn to! but then Paul added - especially of believers. In order to obtain that Salvation Jesus bought one must turn to Him in faith. And the bible clearly says most won't.

The only way to fix the country!!!

Well ethnos is the Greek NT not the Hebrew OT. Also it helps if you bother to look up the word instead of just arbitrarily plugging it in somewhere in an English translation!

The only way to fix the country!!!

Nations is "ethnos" which means people. We are all judged individually not as groups. We never were an official "Christian nation". Christianity was the preferred religion and the most populous religion but not the official religion. Yes, if god allows we could be a majority Christian nation...

23 major reasons to reject the Premil doctrine!

Satan is the god of this world! His hosts are here and we are commanded to put the armour of god on to defeat the schemes of the devil

And tap you r heels three times and say there is no place like home! Just because you wish to reject proper grammar to promote a false agenda doesn't make it so.

And you know this how??? Were you there? Or are you just spitballing based on one possible definition of a Greek Word?

God is Just to Forgive Past sins

We are taught to forgive others as we have been forgiven, but know for certainty salvation is not based on the level we forgive others. As Paul said so succinctly: Ephesians 2:8-9 King James Version 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of...

LIMITED ATONEMENT: US vs THEM (the L of TULIP)

No they are different. Propitiation is the acceptable scarifice while NT atonement is a removal of sin. Works never have nor ever will save us. Good works are the result of us being saved. YOu are so wrong! All men do not receive the atonement. Only those who place their trust in the...

    ...

Short answer. Judas is and will remain unsaved. Judas did not biblically repent. Biblical repentance is the Greek--Metanoia which means a change of mind. Judas' repentance was --Metamellomai which means to feel bad about. So Judas felt bad but did not have biblical repentance.

God is Just to Forgive Past sins

For day to day life, yes. for eternal salvation? NO! Our eternal forgiveness was bought by the blood Jesus shed on the cross and when He physically rose from the dead.

LIMITED ATONEMENT: US vs THEM (the L of TULIP)

I see you rproblem. YOu are equating propitiation with atonement and those two are different actions. Jesus is the propitiation means He is the only acceptable sacrifice for sin. But in order for one to be "saved" one must trust in the death and resurrection of Jesus alone for their sin...

Freedom of selection: does it really boil down to 'tolerance'?

Well if one is walking in the Spirit, that is how it would work. If I saw a fellow believer in sin, I would seek to restore them so that the sin would not harm them.

Coincidences? Or Time to WATCH be READY for the Day and Hour Is Near

Even amils get things right from time to time! But the millennial kingdom is literal for there is no grammar that shows it a metaphor. And for Peters passage, you have it exactly backwards! The Day of the Lord is a literal day. Day is "hemara" which mostly means daytime or a 24 hour day, but...

Coincidences? Or Time to WATCH be READY for the Day and Hour Is Near

Well if John wrote today it probably would be a book. but as He wrote in the first century and books had not been invented yet, it was a scroll!

Freedom of selection: does it really boil down to 'tolerance'?

Depends on what day itis. If I am in the flesh I will get defensive and angry and seek to justify myself. If in the Spirit I should already know I am in sin and would welcome one to come along side me to encourage me to move forward in the right way.

LIMITED ATONEMENT: US vs THEM (the L of TULIP)

You are wrong. Jesus saved individuals not people generically. Jesus is the propitiation of the world- and propitiation means the acceptable sacrifice. Jesus paid for the sins of the world- but the payment must be received by trust or the payment is not applied! Romans 9 shows god selection...
