James Was Not Talking about Faith in Jesus Christ for Salvation

Strange, you already admitted faith alone is not genuine faith,

    The salvation journey.

You do not know what the Lords church teaches friend. The word of God does not teach a priest must be the baptizer. Anyone one even the lost can baptize one into Christ. Stop, making this error. I do not believe a Holy "priest" must be the baptizer. I'm not catholic! Now you think about this...

James Was Not Talking about Faith in Jesus Christ for Salvation

James was not teaching meritorious works, Therefore the works that do save according to James 2:24 cannot be meritorious. Therefore the obedient faith that saves is without merit. Faith with obedient works save. Not faith with meritorious works save. James makes himself clear only faith with...

Jesus taught faith was a work of God, John 6:28-29. Why do you disagree with Jesus?
  5. Titus

    The salvation journey.

Nope Baptizo is not always water immersion, I already proved that to you. Gal says we’re baptizo’d INTO CHRIST. Not water. You can either continue in unbelief, or you can repent and place your faith in christ, not some pastor immersing you in water If you look up multin and Milligan, they...

James Was Not Talking about Faith in Jesus Christ for Salvation

Since faith only with no obedience is not genuine Biblical faith it cannot be true saving faith!

No spin on verses from me. Galatians 3:26-27 is baptizo, therefore it must be water immersion. The one baptism according to Paul that saves is baptizo, Ephesians 4:5. One can only conclude correctly water immersion is what adds us into Christ. For Holy Spirit baptism is two too many.

James Was Not Talking about Faith in Jesus Christ for Salvation

Friend, I have not been able to get access to this website since last saturday. Finally one hour ago I was able to log on to christianity boards.com. Have you had any difficulty with this website recently?

    The salvation journey.

You made an assumption I dont know more than one baptism exists. Why have you not addressed the elephant in the room. Your misinterpretation of the Greek work baptizo is clearly wrong. Therefore Ephesians 4:5 cannot be Holy Spirit as you wrongly teach because the word one baptism is Greek...

Christians and Jews are both anti Acts 2:38.

You teach Acts 2:38 is ALL of Jesus' gospel in its entirety. I believe 100% we must obey Acts 2:38 to be saved. You teach Acts 2:38 is how we are saved. And nothing else. Have you noticed Acts 2:38 teaches repentance and baptism. It does not teach belief! Do you think we can be saved without...

Christians and Jews are both anti Acts 2:38.

1Peter 3:20-21 Who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the atk was a preparing, in which a few, that is, eight souls were saved through water. There is also an antitype which now saves us--water immersion..... It was water that saved...

Christians and Jews are both anti Acts 2:38.

Maybe you confess faith. Biblical confession is specific. Romans 10:9-19 and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation Just as the Ethiopian Eunch did BEFORE he was saved, Acts 8:37-38 John 3:16 is not the whole gospel of salvation. Acts 2:38 is not the whole gospel of salvation. If...
  13. Titus

    The salvation journey.

Good. In Jesus' gospel there is only one baptism, Ephesians 4:5 One Lord, One faith, ONE BAPTISM. You cannot be accurate in your Bible teaching. Since there is only one baptism into Christ, Galatians 3:26-27, For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as...

    The salvation journey.

I'm fine, if you want to give your opinions. But, opinions will never convince me of Biblical accuracy. If you want to have some sway with me. Then please use the Bible to make your position. Otherwise it is just a meaningless I say, you say lacking any evidence. You are incorrect in saying...

    John Calvin and Calvinism.

I am not interested in having any discussion with You. Because you made it quite clear you do not care about what I have to say. Leave me alone!
  16. Titus

    John Calvin and Calvinism.

Then God is a respecter of persons. He loves some and desires to burn others in hell. For what reason? Because according to Calvinism, FOR HIS GLORY! If that is not an evil god then explain how your god, is love towards those whom he predestined to burn them in hell before they even existed?

God Will Have Vengeance on His People

Romans 11:22 Therefore behold the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severty; but toward you, goodness, If you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.
  18. Titus

    John Calvin and Calvinism.

Only if Calvinism is correct and God determines everything we choose. Reality: God gives us freedoms to go against Him. (Freewill) Remember Paul taught, confession saves, Romans 10:9-10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto,salvation...

    John Calvin and Calvinism.

What makes you think God has not chosen all to be saved? John 3:16 The Bible version John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. The calvinist version John 3:16 For God had preferential...

Christians and Jews are both anti Acts 2:38.

Happy you asked. Friend, you have work to do. Read, the first gospel sermon preached under Jesus new will and testament,(when His law came into force) Read: study it diligently, All of Acts chapter 2. Then read All of Acts chapter 8. Pay close attention to the conversion of Simon the...
