    Can you know for sure?

I did not demolish Mark 16:16 or disannul Acts 2:38. This is what happens when you isolate pet verses, build doctrine on them and then ignore the context and the rest of scripture. You need to properly harmonize scripture with scripture before reaching your conclusion on doctrine. Apparently...

    Can you know for sure?

Mark 16:16 - He who believes and is baptized will be saved (general cases without making a qualification for the unusual case of someone who believes but is not baptized) but he who does not believe will be condemned. The omission of baptized with "does not believe" shows that Jesus does not...

    The Basis of Salvation

From beginning “have been” saved through faith (Ephesians 2;8) to end “receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls” (1 Peter 1:9) salvation is by grace through faith and is not by works. (Romans 4:5-6: Ephesians 2:8,9)

    BLM supports looting

I just recently read this article below: Black Lives Matter Chicago organizer says looting is ‘reparations’: ‘Businesses have insurance’ Looting is reparations? Businesses have insurance? Justified lawlessness? o_O

    Mark of the Beast?

President Trump on Thursday announced what he called a “Historic Peace Agreement” between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, saying they agreed to “full normalization of relations.” Trump announces 'Historic Peace Agreement' between Israel, UAE Keep your eye on this!

    BLM protesters burning bibles

As a Christian, I truly believe that black lives do matter, as do all lives, God created ALL people and loves ALL of us, yet this article below has some disturbing information about the BLM movement in of itself. Do all black lives matter?

Peter and Paul's witness of Water Baptism: Were they the Same?

I hope not Oneness Pentecostalism. We must not confuse the reality (Spirit baptism) with the picture of the reality (water baptism).

Peter and Paul's witness of Water Baptism: Were they the Same?

False. You are not properly harmonizing Scripture with Scripture before reaching your conclusion on doctrine. You also seem to confuse water baptism with Spirit baptism. Do you attend the church of Christ?

Peter and Paul's witness of Water Baptism: Were they the Same?

Why do you suppose there was a delay in the Samaritans receiving the Holy Spirit in Acts 8 until after Peter and John laid hands on them and do you believe this was the exception or the rule? Also, do you believe that these Gentiles in Acts 10 who believed, received the gift of the Holy Spirit...

Peter and Paul's witness of Water Baptism: Were they the Same?

Amen! In Acts 2:38, "for the remission of sins" does not refer back to both clauses, "you all repent" and "each one of you be baptized," but refers only to the first. Peter is saying "repent unto the remission of your sins," the same as in Acts 3:19. The clause "each one of you be baptized" is...

    The Half-Gospel.

Typical straw man argument from those who preach a “different” gospel of “works righteousness,” (Galatians 1:6-9) are confident of their own righteousness/personal performance and look down on others.

    The Half-Gospel.

The gospel, which is the “good news” of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) and is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that BELIEVES.. (Romans 1:16) is not a half gospel, yet those who cannot ACCEPT it prefer a “different” gospel instead. (Galatians 1:6-9)

    The Half-Gospel.

Like I said. The gospel is not hard hard to understand. It's just hard for many people to ACCEPT and there is a reason for that. (2 Corinthians 4:3,4)

    The Half-Gospel.

The gospel is the "good news" of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) and is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that BELIEVES.. (Romans 1:16). To "believe" the gospel is to trust in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ as the ALL-sufficient means...

    Salvation Through Baptism ???

That's because there are FEW who genuinely trust in Jesus Christ as the ALL-sufficient means of their salvation. (John 3:16; 10:9; 14:16; Romans 4:5-6; Ephesians 2:8,9) Sadly, MANY trust in works for salvation and not in Jesus Christ alone.

The relationship between faith and works.

Amen! Man is saved through faith and not by works (Romans 4:5-6; Ephesians 2:8,9; 2 Timothy 1:9); yet genuine faith is substantiated, evidenced by works (James 2:14-24). It is through faith "in Christ alone" (and not based on the merits of our works) that we are justified on account of Christ...
