While what you're saying is true, the law remains in order to show that the power of Christ is actually at work. The law is an indicator or righteousness. Like a voltmeter. So if there is power present in the person then the law will show this. If we throw out the law we are only guessing...

Good point! But you must also see that a person CAN give up everything on the altar and be completely cleased. Otherwise we could never be cleased from ALL unrighteousness.

If someone says that God cannot destroy the wicked...then that person is limiting God. God will act righteously...not according to men but according to His own word.
