When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

Jesus hasn't returned in the way described by him in Matthew 24 or described by Paul in 1 Thessalonians 4 or 1 Corinthians 15.....it is this event which the scripture terms, 'the day of the Lord'

Acts 2 does not nullify the promise of Acts 1

When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

the return the scripture speaks of is as was promised in Acts 1:9-11 9After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. 10They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11“Men...

When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

A misunderstanding of the 70 weeks prophecy in Daniel will throw all eschatology into a confusing and wrong direction. The error is the separation of the 70th week from the continuum of the prophecy. This view is one of eisegesis not exegesis.

When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

yes, this abomination is progressive....it builds and builds.....it will attempt to enslave the whole world and then 'the day' will come where it is cut short by Jesus' return. His return will be a rescue mission for God's people.

When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

All reality is found in Jesus.....all future unfolding (development) will mirror this principal.

When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

It is happening in real terms the which is represented by metaphor ie man of sin, temple, daily sacrifice etc

When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

Paul is seeing down the corridor of history. He is explaining the development (progressive in abomination ie, misrepresentation) of a counterfeit system embodied corporately and individually.

You have not understood what Paul has laboured for and why!

When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

The man of sin is the man who misrepresents God's Salvation Plan ....embodied in Jesus

When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

No, I'm saying that God used a physical structure (the temple) to foreshadow the Plan of Salvation.....this plan the Jewish nation has denied and rejected in favour of the investing value into the physical and thereby denying the spiritual. Christianity at large is in the same danger.

When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

The ancient Jewish Temple is a collective of functions which in themselves are symbols of The plan of Salvation. Just as there is no intrinsic value in the blood of a slain animal so there is no intrinsic value in a Temple structure. The value is in what these things are a symbol of. It is...

Where is the reformation in the Bible?

No, I don't mean baptism. Rebirth has to do with the renewing of a person's paradigm.

When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

You might consider this, marks....the temple being God's corporate Church......the daily sacrifice being none other than Jesus. Bricks and mortar or tents, ie, physical structures where only ever symbols as were the daily sacrifices. The reality is embodied in God's plan of Salvation. It is...

When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

and do you really think that Daniel under inspiration was referring to bricks and mortar?

Where is the reformation in the Bible?

Where is the reformation in the Bible? Without rebirth there is no reformation.

When You See the Abomination of Desolation Stand in the Holy Place

1....A Temple...what is it or, what is its significance...or, what is its purpose? 2....The daily sacrifice...what is it or, what is its significance....or, what is its purpose? This needs to be clear before any further understanding.
