    The Ten Lost Tribes Theory

    There is some merit to what you are saying of course. But the true representation of Joseph (Ephraim) remains scattered among the nations. God knows they who are His. The call has gone out to ALL nations to be included in the return of Ephraim. Ephraim (and the book of Hosea) represent the...

    Imputed righteousness;

    The bible lays out the gospel as POWER unto salvation. Paul preached in word AND power. Without power from heaven to walk as Jesus walked we are still slaves of sin. We are still stuck operating in the flesh. But the flesh power must die in order for us to partake of the life of Christ. Those...

    Imputed righteousness;

    The grace of God is His strength being made manifest in us! Miraculous things FOLLOW those who are the Lord's.

    Imputed righteousness;

    Jesus will not justify either the wicked or the flesh. Neither will He justify disobedience! It takes a lot of indoctrination to not be able to see this. Ask anyone on the street. :)

    Faith..in what

    Good post!!! :)

    Imputed righteousness;

    Salvation is IN Christ. As we abide in Him we are abiding in He who saves us. I think you have completely missed the purpose of the bible. The gospel of grace you see as a scheme to let it all slide...by claiming you are covered for an inside track on doing nothing because of a misplaced belief...

    Imputed righteousness;

    God will never justify the wicked. Jesus' obedience was done so that we could also be empowered to obey the same as He. Thart is why disciples are called FOLLOWERS (not just beneficiaries) You are seeing Jesus as someone to gain an advantage from...not become like. A disciple is learning...

    Imputed righteousness;

    Why does your reasoning go against the scriptures? Obedience is better than sacrifice. It is far better to obey God than constantly need to be forgiven. Good works are the fruit of obedience.

    The Idea of Two Gospels

    Could the bible have been written in such a way as to weed out the "lawyers" among us?
  10. Episkopos

    Imputed righteousness;

    The question proves a confusion between salvation and the Holy Spirit. There is also a confusion of doing things in one's own strength and through the Spirit. The bible says...obedience is better than sacrifice. Would you say that Jesus' sacrifice is better than obedience? This shows the logic...

    The Idea of Two Gospels

    Have anyone come up with a skewed theory as to why only the gospel of John says one must be born again?

    The Idea of Two Gospels

    Jesus Christ fulfilled the promise of visitation to the people of Jerusalem. Jesus paid His vows in the flesh to His people according to the flesh. To the Jew FIRST and then the Gentile....not...To the Jew and NOT the Gentile. So Jesus called out the Jews first. It is like the parable of the...

    The Idea of Two Gospels

    Bits of dust that are frozen in the cooler temperatures. ;) If we are to be tried by fire then what is under the snow will be made manifest at judgment. There is no fooling God.

    The Idea of Two Gospels

    Sweeping sins under a carpet does not change the situation...it merely masks it. Those who believe in this form of justification are really only wearing a mask...like an actor. The exterior appears clean before men...but inside are all manner of vices and sins. Of course this is diametrically...

    The Idea of Two Gospels

    You are saying that Jesus only died for Gentiles?

    Imputed righteousness;

    There is a difference between our weak bodies and the carnal nature that gives drive to the flesh. The bible is concerned with the flesh NATURE that causes us to be rebellious to God. The carnal NATURE is what separates us from God. It is a life that is outside of God. This is not to be...

    SELF-DENIAL-mjs

    The deadliest enemy of a Christian is not the devil, or the world....but the self-life. This life stands in opposition to God. It seeks it's own way. Only after we have forsaken this life will we have to deal with the devil and the world that seeks to destroy us through the self life in others...

    The Idea of Two Gospels

    You are either denying the deity of Christ or else the fact that He came as a man. If you think that God lacks the power to convert a man and abide in Him then you are still dead in your sins. You have yet to believe the gospel and be actually renewed.

    The Idea of Two Gospels

    Huge error here... Paul was not "first" to receive anything....the word is "foremost" as in needing it the most because he persecuted the church. In other words if Paul can be saved then ANYONE can be saved! If one who persecutes the church can be shown mercy then those who do far less harm can...
