Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@Rita Both as a topic and as a recurring practice, so very widespread; ppl get inked up (better just matter-of-factly, right?) and then move on.

Oh forget the Adolf bit.... Beards are more widespread than ppl realize....

@mailmandan Great comment; great verses there...

@Hidden In Him FYI... did you see/ vote in the poll, above? :)

    With So Many Denominations...

@Hidden In Him Well, you don't know what his voice sounded like, but you could I suppose use historical allusions to give people clues as to who you might be talking about...

    Beirut

@Rita I think that because the gas explosion didn't kill anyone - unlike the London bombings - it didn't stay in the media for nearly as long.

    With So Many Denominations...

@Hidden In Him As you describe it can in the end be as much of a spiritual affinity as a physical one; in fact, more spiritual than anything.

Oh hers was maroon and modest. :)

    With So Many Denominations...

Maybe digressing, though... Doctrine is first and foremost a matter of personal and fellowship conviction. Trying to create and maintain huge church organizations is not a good or realistic idea, IMHO...

Spooky? :) I guess some ppl would say so. Like I mentioned, my wife's hair used to be maroon, and rather than spooky, kind of nice would at least for her have been the description.

    Vaping problems? / benefits?

@VictoryinJesus Quit if you can, but it's not a stigma. Or if other ppl still try to make it a stigma for you, it ought not to be. Before the American Civil War, it was very widespread for women to smoke after church, and it certainly wasn't a stigma then. But very best wishes for your...

    How God teaches

@Rita I do love Proverbs 8; all about divine wisdom personified...

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@2 Chr. 34:19 Well, okay! Some Christians don't regret theirs, anyway...

    Seals Trumps and Vials(order)

@Waiting on him It's sad when ppl are driven away by false or confusing doctrine. I expect that you and @VictoryinJesus have a really precious time together regularly in the Word (as do my wife and I also), judging by all the wholesome and apt Bible passages that you guys regularly post here.

    With So Many Denominations...

@2 Chr. 34:19 Well my wife has only fairly recently stopped doing it, and she has quite a few decades behind her, anyway. (She did like maroon.)

PS: @Waiting on him Thanks for your poll vote; so it happened to you, too. Kind of proves it does work, I guess.

Your hair that colour? :) My wife's has been maroon, though not quite that red.

    Beirut

PS: @Rita I don't quite remember hearing it myself but it was all in the news, I seem to remember; I was over there at the time.

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@Waiting on him Basically true; you're right; so "Don't be a tattoo artist" doesn't necessarily follow, does it?
