Sure. The sign of the New Covenant was the Cup in the Lord's Supper, and that was as often as you do this...

I was going to say Acts 2, but then thought of Acts 8 and the inclusion of the Samaritans, and chapter 10 when the Gentiles were included. What is interesting is that the Day of Pentecost was the anniversary of the giving of the Mosaic Covenant. So, yes, Acts 2 is the birthday.

Anyone Up For A Bible Q&A!!

You cannot put new wine into old wine skins. That is what you are trying to do by saying the New Covenant is actually a continuation of the Mosaic covenant's Ten Commandments. I don't know what you've read in this thread, but did you know that Ismael represented the Ten Commandments, not Isaac...

Now you are just being ugly. I'm not following this accusation and what you think that passage means. I read the text in context, and stated what I think. You still haven't given your opinion for me to agree with or not.

It is both. The Ten Commandments were of the flesh Ishmael was of the flesh Isaac was of Promise Jesus is the Promise You never answered the other part of the question. What is the sign of the New Covenant? Do you still think it is baptism?

What is backwards? Was Ishmael the son of promise, and Isaac the son of the flesh? No. They represent the two covenants. You are so obvious. If I said a Zebra was black and white; you would say, no, a Zebra is white and black just to argue.

cc: @Jay Ross @David Taylor Because the Sabbath was the sign of the covenant of Ishmael that ended with the New Covenant, this is why Christians do not keep the 7th day Sabbath.

Galatians 3 17 And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later, cannot annul the covenant that was confirmed before by God in Christ, that it should make the promise of no effect. Galatians 4 21 Tell me, you who desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law? 22...

Anyone Up For A Bible Q&A!!

The Abrahamic Covenant represented Isaac, the son of promise. The Mosaic Covenant represented Ishmael, the son of the flesh. See? Two different avenues running side by side, but not an extension, which is why the latter didn't nullify the former. The New Covenant nullified them both. You are...

Anyone Up For A Bible Q&A!!

Don't you know that the "Old Covenant" as you call it are actually two covenants representing two entirely different things? The Mosaic Covenant was not an extension of the Abrahamic Covenant. They were two entirely different avenues. So what is the sign of the New Covenant?

Matthew 13: 47 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind, 48 which, when it was full, they drew to shore; and they sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away. 49 So it will be at the end of the age. The...
