The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

Yeah Not disqualified from enterinng heaven (salvation) but disqualified from being a teacher who is able to do what God created him to do. We all should fear this..

If you want to believe that, That is on you. I do not see this I am not justifying sinning, John said they can not live in sin, That is not justifying sin, That is making a direct statment that a child of God can not live in a way you are claiming they can. Your argument is with John not me.

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

No Paul knew from the beginning that he was given every spiritual blessing in heaven, That he was justified freely By Grace, Not according to how good he was (all good works) or how righteous he was through the law. He knew to be absent was to be present with the lord. And he longed for it with...

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

Now the above makes me laugh (Is it ok to repeat terms they use or should we not do this? Just asking) Because he claims TRUE grace believing is easy believing, (not the mere belief of James 2 or Jude) Yet it is so hard, he will not even give it a second thought He shows us just how hard it...

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

Actually God spent ery little time there Most of the NT scriptures is fighting legalistic thinking in fact, Hebrew is fighting legalistic thinking Not a license.. Living by law is legalism, not licentiousness. Licentiousness is living n sin John said a child born of god can not live in...

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

If you were truly saved by true repentance, You would never fall into either. You could not fall into legalism, because you understand your true guilt and just penalty because of that guilt. And you would never fall into a license because you underestand sin is sin is sin, and it is what made...

They were not allowed to enter because of unbelief From the time they left and the time they died. They complained continually. At the river, which Moses through God split. At the rock, Which God provided water At the other rock, where their unbelief made Moses so mad he disobeyed and because...

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

there is no such thing as easy believing, Unless you want to use the term licentiousness. But they do not believe. They think because they said some sinners prayer they are saved and get a get out of jail free card which is forever. so now I can go eat drink and be merry and live however I...

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

Yep but must be taken in context Heb 10, when taken in context of the law. Shows that these sins, will never be forgiven, because the law can not grant forgiveness. And it saddens me you think your sins are not willful. Sounds like like the jew who puffed his chest against the tax collector.
  16. Eternally Grateful

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

It does not matter, a work is a work if a work of man is done to earn or maintain salvation (say like in the OT, works of the law, or in the New Testament commands given to the church) then it is called a works based salvation is it not? Because you are doing those acts of righteousness to help...

If it was, then it would look like the church in acts, I have been to many a catholic mass, and I see no resemblance at all so just saying this is what you believe, I think we need to go deeper than this.

Amen I think this is where a lot of differences come in, how we interpret the different examples the word (seed) is given to all, but the word falls on people different ways, and as such, produces different results depending on how people react to the word.

The issue is not works the issue is what are we doing works for works done to earn or maintain salvation. Are called bloody rags, self righteousness, and will be rejected by God works done by believers who are working out the salvation are called works of righteousness, fruit bearing, earning...
