Would not Christ being initially revealed simultaneously kind of remove the personal aspect of our relationship with our Creator? Just a thought. And, of course, one would have to believe in a personal relationship with God. I do.

Gods "choosing" certain people, the bible heroes, so to speak, had nothing to do with the choosing of salvation. God only chooses certain people to the purpose of His plan, IMHO, those whom He knows are faithful to Him.
