    A FORM OF FREEDOM

I do love the transition from bondage to the true freedom of being alive in Christ, seen in Ephesians 2. :)

    Poet's Corner

I liked the way you related it to poetry, anyway; thanks.

    Poet's Corner

I see; so do they all seem to be fairly fit and able to do what it required? I guess it's one thing to be a celebrity; quite another to be fit and able still to do it all gracefully.

Poll: Best age for first tattoo?

Thanks for your comment; interesting, indeed. I guess this was decades back that you are speaking of; which is fine. In terms of customs widely observed now, it's interesting also that those who are cited in the quote are women; which might not have been the case at the time of your...

    Poet's Corner

I expect you look forward to it; interesting comment recently about them being so united and graceful; a lesson for unity before the Lord, you were saying. So are they any particular people who stand out in your view, in the series?

Poll: Best age for first tattoo?

Thanks for your comment, indeed. Did you also read the quote in the OP? it's also a deeply held perspective by people in the Bible Belt, it seems.

@Pearl So is there a series of Strictly Come Dancing still running, currently?

Signs of the Last Days=3rd. Temple Feaver Officially Hit Israel!!

The Lord indeed searches the heart (Jeremiah 17); we often don't know what is going on in people's hearts.

Poll: Best age for first tattoo?

Glad to answer. It's a very topical subject. With the prevalence of tattooing, the opportunities for faith based designs have risen enormously, even as in various ways society in the West is more secularized. So in a sense it's an off-spin that provides lots of opportunities that weren't there...

What's the Weather Like in your part of the world Right Now?

Well, it's gone away from here, for now... :)

    Forever

Hebrews chapters 9 and 10 are very clear indeed about the one, finished offering. :)

Little Things That Make You Happy

Here they also have 'quesadillas', which is cheese between tortillas, and often other things added, besides.

Poll: Best age for first tattoo?

Great, reflective comment, thanks! Like you said, with theirs it would have been nothing to do with your feelings as a Christian; I can see that, yes. More like "letting go", I guess... With yours, I guess, instead, it felt really good to be doing (at last?) something really inspirational that...

Doctrine of total inability/total depravity or do we have a free will.

Ephesians 2 does indeed say that naturally we are 'dead in trespasses and sins'.

    Romans 8

Ephesians 1 also has some really strong statements about the sovereignty of God, which complement those of Romans 8.

Poll: Best age for first tattoo?

As opposed to how you dealt with it as your sons reached 18 and got theirs; When you did it, after reflecting from Scripture, did it feel good like as a sort of self-discovery?

    Romans 8

"In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." (John 1).

Little Things That Make You Happy

It's cheese that you put crackers into... :)

Poll: Best age for first tattoo?

For them it was a very deliberate, unregretted thing, then, right? For you, I guess it was very deliberate, unregretted thing also, but in a rather different way, maybe?

    Romans 8

It's such a wholesome habit to commit Scripture to memory; and by faith for it to reside in the heart. "Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee." (Psalm 119.11).
