I am sorry about your pastor. But Spurgeon did not suffer from depression. He could not function at all it that were the case. Manic depression is most likely the cause the way he himself describes it. It made his life a roller coaster of emotions. Highs are high and lows are low. It is a common...

I know firsthand how God can make you sick if you are living in a sin, that you will not stop. Some commit adultery and remain sick, until they understand the need to repent. The Apostle Paul referred to another type of sickness in taking the Lord's supper. 1 Corinthians 11:30- For this reason...

You do realize these preachers write books and make most of their money that way.

Windows 11 and 10 are the same operating systems. Microsoft once promised that Windows 10 would receive updates forever and that no new operating system would be forthcoming. Some board member needed more money and boom Window 11 came. If they would just update the software, without adding some...

Everyone at some point in their life will go through a depressive episode in their life. In clinical depression, it is a lack serotonin production and it puts someone in a very dark place, even crying for no reason. Yes, many turn to alcohol as a drug. This can be fixed with a lot of exercise...

Proverbs 3:5 -7 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil.

I believe I explained how there is no contradiction. Hosea was about Israels rebellion and not asking God for help, in the OT. In the New Testament we as believers are to obey God, not the unsaved. Acts is correct we are obey God rather than men. The Apostle Paul spelled it out as strong as...

I don't believe ADHD is a disorder or a disease. Any phycologist will tell you that. I see people all the time with undiagnosed ADHD. In fact, it is so predictable you can go to a web site called ADHD 101 and read about it. ADHD in the military are those that are fearless fighters and chance...

There is no mighty rushing wind or tongues of fire sitting on anyone's head. I've never seen it. Everyone received the Holy Spirit individually at the Crusades. not spontaneously like at Pentecost.

You are not even asking a biblical question. You only accuse.

All you do is accuse. God can put anyone anywhere. Is nothing impossible for God?

Ok, thanks for taking the joke. Pentecost had a mighty rushing wind and tongues of fire sat on each one. I have never seen that happen, or heard of that, or even a little wind. In the Crusade, it is stressed you must make a personal confession, and everyone is required to come to Jesus individually.

put reading glasses on grandpa. Thousands, individually. Yes, everyone surrendering to Christ individually.

What do you trust in? I trust in the word of God. God is not a liar. If Christians are being deceived, how is that so.

I just knew some individuals in different churches that spoke in tongues, I have nothing new to say. I even had one try laying hands on me for me to speak tongues. I didn't. I read up on tongues and stories because I did have a theory that another language was spoken.

I typed in plain English. So obtuseness. I worked for the Bill Graham crusades and I've seen thousands come to Christ every night for weeks. Every one of them said the sinner's prayer in their own words and were saved individually. That's what God want for us now, each of us, in our own heart...

Most who speak in tongues do not know what they are saying. An interpreter is needed, but there never seems to be one around in full gospel churches. I asked my tongue speaking friend if he knew what he was saying and he said no. I asked him if he recorded himself and he said no. I've read...

Why are you talking about water baptism? In the Op we were talking about the Samarians. The Apostles had to lay hands on each, individually, to receive the Holy Spirit. Baptism had no bearing on it.

I did not say people don't receive the Holy Spirit, put your glasses on and read it again. I said they don't the way like the day of Pentecost. Have you preached to a room, and everyone received the Holy Spirit instantaneously? Peter preached Jesus to Cornelius and everyone in the house received...

Hosea highlights Israel's rebellion against God, trusting in man and not trusting God. Romans 13 is God's command for the elect of God. Are you one of the Children of God that obeys? I'll trust in the Lord forever, amen. I trust in His word he gave us. I will not doubt God's word.
