Are you brave enough to hear the spiritual truth? I'm going to use a word that many Christian sites "flag" and when it pops up, the carnal site will ban the person because of their holiness beliefs. Is that fair, when false teachers are allowed to spew heresy? The plan of redemption started in...

ROFL Cute!

If you put working your way to heaven with keeping ourselves pure, then you are a false teacher. You don't know the scriptural meaning of "works." It is important to make your election SURE so that you will never stumble. Then your entrance to heaven is assured. If you believe the cross allows...

Paul knew that many of the people were not growing. Those who have been born again KEEP THEMSELVES and STAY PURE. You must believe in another false doctrine known as OSAS. So look at the title of this OP. Are you guilty too? Carnal babies know nothing about gifts, because they have never been...

You didn't understand. If we still have a carnal mind then we haven't been born again, and aren't even taught about the Holy Spirit, let alone His power to free us from sin, the number one reason humans will go to the lake of fire and be consumed. So not being born again and still having a...

Behold, the problem with those who still live with a carnal mind is they want to be able to sin and not be condemned to hell because they have found they have no power over sin, so they don't believe by their EXPERIENCE that there is any. Some denominations do not even teach on the Holy Spirit...

It is exciting to be one of the "alive and remain" isn't it. We are privileged to be among those who may die for Christ, or if we are ready and don't have to "overcome" as in the letters to the 7 churches of Rev. 2 and 3, then God will keep us secure in Him and alive.

Consider two other theories. Yours is the least plausible. It is too long. See last segment below. The 2, 300 mornings and evenings (like Creation week) of Daniel 8 is in the prophecy concerning Greece. 2,300 literal days is 6.3 years and coincides with the first Jewish revolt of Maccabees from...

Sorry, but I do not believe in preterism.

No, I haven't ever asked that; I've always known the stupid things that happen to me are from my impulsiveness, instead of listening for His instructions.

Not at all according to the name of the OP

The original what? Apostle???????????????????????

Good grief, man, IT WAS A PROPHECY that he would be replaced! Don't you believe in the FULFILLMENT of PROPHECY??????????????????? You can't have a name in heaven that has BEEN FORGOTTEN and wiped from our minds! Besides Judas laid no foundation in the Church

Scripture already answered WHY Judas was no longer "numbered." Read my post #41 where I cited it for you. Don't you believe scripture???? You can't have a name in heaven the has BEEN FORGOTTEN.

The apostles knew the answer would be no, that is why they endeavored to get a new 12th member. Acts 1: 20 “For it is written in the Book of Psalms: ‘Let his dwelling place be desolate, And let no one live in it’; and, ‘Let another take his office.’ What I meant was that there were solid...

There are good arguments for both Matthias and Paul. They are both apostles along with Barnabas and probably Apollos. If it is something I need to know, I'm sure God will tell me. If not, I'll just wait and read it on the layers.

Ya, it sure is a mystery. Why didn't Luke make it more clear.

I understand what you are saying, and I agreed for as long as I've been alive. But that was because I always considered casting lots as pagan. Now that I know that it is not, I'm not as sure. All I can do is NOT bad mouth Mathias any longer. I guess I'll just wait and read the layers for myself...

We have missionaries don't we? Those are apostles. There are more apostles than just the first 12, but it was important to have at least the first 12 to start off the Church, just like the 12 tribes of Israel, even though there were more (Joseph),

The twelve in Revelation have Matthias as the 12th, I believe. I always thought it would have been Paul because Jesus, Himself, chose him in a vision. But casting lots before the Lord was legal before the Day of Pentecost. Also, Matthias knew Jesus before he died. Paul didn't.
