Do the Ten Commandments still apply under the new covenant today?

Since I have no idea what you're referring to,,, I have no comment. BTW, the NT was already translated and will not be needing any help from neither you nor me.

Do the Ten Commandments still apply under the new covenant today?

Maybe YOU have plenty of time, but I don't WHERE did I misquote you? Why should I care what the Greek word for MADE is? We were discussing PAUL not Peter. We were discussing the word BEGET not the word made. YOU said Acts shows that Paul was NOT killed in Rome. I asked for proof from the...

Do the Ten Commandments still apply under the new covenant today?

I believe we were discussing PAUL. Paul was beheaded in Rome.

Do the Ten Commandments still apply under the new covenant today?

I'm not discussing Greek Mono. I'm discussing the word BEGOTTEN and what it means THEOLOGICALLY.

Do the Ten Commandments still apply under the new covenant today?

The norm is that YOU have to post scripture defending what YOU state. It's not up to ME to go look for it. Please post the end of the letter that states that Paul died in Babylon. Thanks.

Do the Ten Commandments still apply under the new covenant today?

Here's BEGOTTEN in the Greek meaning: It's the same BTW. The Greek word for "begotten," especially in biblical contexts like the Nicene Creed, is μονογενής (monogenēs), meaning "only begotten," "unique," or "one of a kind," combining monos (only) and genos (kind, offspring). While it carries...

Do the Ten Commandments still apply under the new covenant today?

OH!!!! And where is that written in the book of Acts??

Do the Ten Commandments still apply under the new covenant today?

So everything not written in the NT is myth and legend? History ends in Acts?

Do the Ten Commandments still apply under the new covenant today?

I posted the following in post 857... I'll post it again. Begotten means something specific in theology: In theology, begotten means to bring forth something of the same nature as oneself, not to create or make it, signifying Jesus' unique, eternal, divine origin from God the Father, distinct...

Do the Ten Commandments still apply under the new covenant today?

Oh my. So, let's say someone is in the hospital and their sick. And this statement is my last statement to you. Does this mean that they cannot die? Does it mean they're still alive? Could they have DIED, but I didn't mention it? Do you think Paul lived forever? Paul died by beheading in...

Do the Ten Commandments still apply under the new covenant today?

The word MADE is NOT a theological word. Please change the wording of your statement since I don't know what you mean by MADE. If YOU claim to be begotten,,,,not made.... then you must be like Jesus.

Do the Ten Commandments still apply under the new covenant today?

WHERE in the above does it state that Paul was NOT executed by Rome?

Do the Ten Commandments still apply under the new covenant today?

Unfortunately we've been dumbed down. The creeds were all meant to confirm Christian teachings. How could that be ignorant? Some Christians do not like the creeds because they prefer to have thier own beliefs regarding the Christian religion.

Do the Ten Commandments still apply under the new covenant today?

Where does the NT state that Paul was not executed by the Romans??

    "Before Abraham Was, I AM"

ADOPTIONISM IS HERETICAL. The TRUTH is that Jesus is God and has always existed. Your post is rather vague and if you care to respond, please post scripture supporting what you're stating above.

    "Before Abraham Was, I AM"

Correct. The changes would be HERETICAL, DESTRUCTIVE and given by false teachers. If you believe Christianity has changed from about 30AD and changes have been made to the New Testament writers teachings, you're going to have to list which changes and HOW they could possibly be legitimate...

Do the Ten Commandments still apply under the new covenant today?

BEGOTTEN does NOT mean CREATED. That word should be ELIMINATED from theological language but I sometimes slip and use it myself. Begotten is used in John 3:16...and yet we know that Jesus was NOT created. Here is the best explanation of the word that I've come across.... source: Gemini In...

    "Before Abraham Was, I AM"

You know better Scott. Please don't use "Son of man" to mean that Jesus was the son of a human being. Son of Man is found in Daniel 7 and is referring to one who would come and that someone is Jesus. Daniel 7:13-14 “I kept looking in the night visions, And behold, with the clouds of heaven One...

    "Before Abraham Was, I AM"

I don't believe what I wish. I believe what is a fact. Do YOU not believe that Christianity is 2 thousand years old? WHEN do YOU believe some began to change accepted Christian beliefs from 2 thousand years ago? OSAS was introduced, in its present form, about 200 years ago....a belief that...

    "Before Abraham Was, I AM"

Jesus IS the Son of God. Jesus IS the Son of Man. Because some Christians do NOT understand their Christian faith does not make null and void Christian theology. There are members on this very Forum who claim to be Christian and yet do not either know, or accepty, Christian theology which has...
