One opportunity for everyone to start with a clean slate and keep it that way to the end of their course. What mighty God we serve!

Praying now!

Praying for both of you.

Ec 9:11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. Mt 5:45 That ye may be the children...

Praying now!

When I was young at parties I would drink to excess to get myself to open, but it was a false opening. I stopped drinking more than 40 years ago. Now if I open at all it is God that does the opening. Give God the glory!

Welcome to the forum. May God richly bless your time spent here.

Ac 12:5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. 1th 5:17 Pray without ceasing. 1th 5:19 Quench not the Spirit. Php 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Ps 9:2 I will be glad and rejoice in...

Amen, my friend! We need to keep our eyes always on Him! To do that, I suppose, being able to see Him clearly is also necessary! Where does one get such eyes with such vision? Mr 8:23 And he [Jesus] took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes...

It is easy at times to want to, or to actually, sit back on one's haunches as if nothing more is needed to endure with God to the end.

Praying!

Much is given, much is required! People will do with it what they will. What matters ultimately is what God does!

"Taking credit for everything" good perhaps would be selfish, considering that according to what is written in one place, God alone is good? May a man then actually be good if he is filled with God's Spirit? Can a man be partly good and partly in darkness [evil]? Can a man be a mixture of good...

Give God the glory!

Speaking thusly of Absolute Truth [AT] reminds me of our dear friend and brother @bbyrd009. He spoke frequently of the ATs that he believed so many held, with no willingness to even consider the possibility of error on their part. God has AT. Jesus certainly has AT [and had AT as a man on planet...

You are repeating yourself without considering what the verses I quoted mean. Never mind what I think. What I think ultimately does not matter unless it is also what God knows. Let us finally leave this alone. Only God gives any real increase!

I believe, God allowed such differences to cause things like this thread to make people look to Him and His Son for answers instead of to their logic and their own brain power. God alone has the answers to all the questions a person may ask. Where else should we go for answers? Mt 17:5 While...

No, I am not better than you, but on some points perhaps I do know a few things. You also know a few things. The important thing in both cases is does our knowledge always equal God's knowledge? The answer for both of us is: No! For this reason we are to live not by knowledge but by faith. God...

You started the thread and want people to participate. You surely would not want me to lie about what I believe so that we would seem to agree. As to me healing, you apparently have not read carefully with understanding what I have already written on this thread. If it is not according to...
