    War Crimes?

These only apply to soldiers of a nation - not terrorists.

    War Crimes?

“War Crimes” is a machination scheme by the victors of a conflict against the vanquished under the pretext of moral outrage and legal preceding. Against Trump, it is an extension of cultural Marxist inspired lawfare. Gaslighting Demonrats talk and act as if they have the power, have the...

Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

Denial of agents and agency. A mere man cannot free the Hebrews from Egypt. It was God working through a man.

Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

Not once in Scripture is “God the Son.” Every epistle states “God the Father.” Every epistle. What does that tell you? Also, do you realize Jesus has a God? What does that tell you?

Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

As if that means the exact same thing as Jesus actually raising himself from the dead! I have the power to give my wife a cup of coffee. That does not mean the cup she is holding in her hand was given by me. Reading into this verse must be subordinated to the many verses that explicitly say God...

Is God Magnanimous? - (as opposed to tyrannical)

The second man, you say? I agree. Jesus is a man not God). Wrong. There are literally dozens of lords in the Bible. This includes the Lord God and the Lord Jesus. Two lords. See Psalm 110:1. The very next verse (16) states what all of Scripture, every Epistle states, there is one God, the...

The challenge in Christianity is not to love Jesus, it's to love Judas.

If only there was a way to differentiate rhetorical questions designed to produce doubt in God, and the Scriptures he inspired, from sincerely wanting more knowledge and understanding.

This is one of the best posts I've ever read from you. On topic! Good job.

Is God Magnanimous? - (as opposed to tyrannical)

Hmm. Bad premise on top of bad premise. Perhaps he was baptized because he needed to be. The whole "need" analysis is a distraction from that he was changed, which is not a quality of the unchanging God of Scripture.

Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

Agreed. This is the line of demarcation. Trinitarians wand to limit what it means to be a Christian to equal being a trinitarian. They call it orthodoxy. I follow the plan text of Scripture, not what trinitarians tell me how I should interpret it 4 centuries later. The title of this thread...

Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

Exactly! John states his purpose at 20:31 is for us to know Jesus is the Christ. Not God incarnate. Read that. Stop extreme eisegesis for prologue to mean other than what John stated his purpose to be.

Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

False. I already explained this. Dig into the actual words, you will find God said he is eternal, cumbersomely expressed as more than “I am” but “I was, am and am becoming.” Everyone says I am. Doesn’t mean they are God OR are claiming to be God.

Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

Not even God can raise himself from the dead. This is because God cannot die. Scripture does not say that Christ raised himself but that God raised him. Romans 10:9.

Lots of humility in that post.

Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

Odd mystical separation of the person who was born 2,000 years ago (capitalization not required as ‘person’ is a common noun). Each Gospel emphatically proclaims who this person is, God’s anointed. Nothing more. Nothing less. And this person has a name that is not the name of the one true God...

Primarily because you are nothing special, though you pretend to be; the path to salvation is the same for all - including you. Simple.

Is God Magnanimous? - (as opposed to tyrannical)

And a point of linguistics. Who perfected Jesus through suffering? God - in his unitarian nature - did the acting as the subject of the sentence. Jesus was acted upon, the object of the sentence. We find this arrangement throughout the NT. God - in his unitarian nature - gave to the world he...

Is God Magnanimous? - (as opposed to tyrannical)

This verse shows Jesus is NOT the unchanging God of Scripture. Why else would Jesus need perfecting through suffering?
