Agreed @Joseph77 Romans 2 AMP 14 When Gentiles, who do not have the Law [since it was given only to Jews], do instinctively the things the Law requires [guided only by their conscience], they are a law to themselves, though they do not have the Law. 15 They show that the essential requirements...

ummm... yes he was... added: If you understood the culture, you would understand the miracles

Christians who have had divine experiences as the gifts of the Holy Spirit are executed through them are only confirming what has already been written. They are living, breathing witnesses to the word of God. Testimonies of his truth. The Spirit of God does dwell within believers but if you...

@Anthony D'Arienzo you will never, ever convince members here who have been moving in the power of the Holy Spirit for years, that the gifts of the Spirit are not for today. Whether that be signs, wonders or miracles. It is impossible to accept a staid christian religious belief system [very...

My point entirely. He was not one of the 12 yet there he was accompanied by signs, wonders and miracles following him. How awesome that the Holy Spirit is not contained in a box of theological belief systems that continue to preach and deny his existence and divine works.... yet he continues to...

The Holy Spirit was here since the foundation of the earth in the beginning when God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:2. He was here as a helper during the days of Prophets with accompanying signs and wonders and miracles. He was here as a helper during the days of the 12 Apostles...

There is absolutely no evidence in the bible that prove that the sign gifts or any gifts have died out with the Apostles. Believers who do not move in the gifts due to this false doctrine, hinder the movement of the Holy Spirit's work in the lives of others, it pretty much assists the devil in...

Yet you believe that the gifts of the Spirit died out with the Apostles?

The verse you are quoting refers directly to the house of Israel, [please read in context] not post resurrection, non-believing gentiles. Of course they believed and why shouldn't they. The only people who came against the signs and wonders Jesus performed were the scribes, Pharisees and...

You will find that most believers who became believers during the times of Jesus and the Apostles, were shown some kind of sign or power from on high before they believed and with that, a personal testimony that comes from one who is saved. There were only a few who believed Jesus by his word...

A good point Josho. Thinking of when new believers read the bible. Will they also be reading it like a history book as they may do when reading the Old Testament? Lessons to be learned for sure but just words from a historical perspective? No Holy Spirit power or anointing???

Rev 11:19 Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.

Then we are at cross roads here. You believe that the Apostolic signs and wonders are not functioning today because of your interpretation of the word. I believe that all gifts are functioning today because the Spirit of God dwells in the believer and he [the Holy Spirit] can release those gifts...

I agree that it is a large subject also was trying to point out that these "sign gifts" are still active in the world and there is no indication that they have ever been removed.

Perhaps that jumping up and down may happen for others and all glory to them but it has not been that way for me. All Pentecostal churches differ. Is it wrong to take hold of the anointing and power that comes from corporate prayer and worship? I think not.... The Holy Spirit does this more in...

Why that is just awesome! I have done what you are doing for many years now and it continues onward. God is so good. I love speaking to people about God particularly those who do not know him.

That's sounds like a long haul. When do you get to sleep?:confused:

The Two Witnesses: Some say that they are Elijah and Enoch. Others say, that they are Elijah and Moses but these are just guesses. No-one really knows who they really are...[added] These two witnesses are moving in signs, wonders and miracles and prophesying. This is a future event.

Okay. Understandable but some things can be just a matter of faith. I believe the word of God 100% and I have faith that he is still the same today, yesterday and forever. Hebrews 13:8. That forever may just last till we individually get home but it's still forever when we are time counters down...
