Hi toknowthetruth, Glad to have you aboard! Looking forward to your posts! Bless ya!

Hi Osten, Welcome to CyB! :) God has his hand on your life and as a new believer, he will help you through various stages of your walk with him into maturity. No... what is means is that you are at the beginning of an awesome path that will eventually lead you to throw off those things that...

I think this topic has exhausted itself to the point of becoming a fruitless and now we are at "the last man standing" kinda thing

I love your avatar! Hope to see you around the board Bless ya!

Your double meaning posts are not lost on me...I'm not a supermoderator because I have a cool avatar :P Please keep with the O/P without resorting to personal insults/attacks. Thanks...

Careful now...This is friendly warning 2 <_<

I pray to Father and ask for whatever is needed at the time, in Jesus name :)

Please take care in your approach when discussing subjects that are controversial. Sticking to the specific issue rather personal insults will ensure that members are not in breach forum rules. Thank you

You could say the same for today's Judaic Jewish believers but that does not make them Christian... In fact they will tell you clearly that they are not Christians but believers in the God of Israel.

Were they Christian or did Wycliffe, Luther, Calvin, and the rest of the Reformers come from a perspective of believing that everything is a god including the natural world as pantheism suggests? Orthodoxy can be challenged but not from perspective outside the Christian worldview....

It is unorthodox...there's no two ways about it.

That's where most of the denominational battles come from.... but let me just make this one point. If I got saved by confessing my sins [1 John1:9] [Romans 10:9,10] and receiving Jesus as my Lord and savior ~ then I died an hour later, I am saved period!. Without having any knowledge of...

The difference here is in the execution...there is a distinct difference between the salvation message and discipleship and it's in the area of discipleship/growing in grace ~ where various denominations differ. Their emphasis is based on what the church values most in their doctrinal...

What really matters is the salvation message because that is the only thing that actually changes people's lives. Everything else is a matter of opinion/preference.

Coming from a prophetic church background, when God gives a dream or vision or a word three consecutive times, it usually indicates that something is being confirmed. Your post immediately reminded me of a song which comes from scripture ~ Malachi 4:2. Blessings and Peace! PS: I am from New...

No need to figure it out. I already know...and btw you are off topic. Please keep to the O/P or you could incur a warning point... Thank you

I agree Trekson, soul sleep is a commonly debated subject but that does not make it orthodox. Soul sleep has no roots in Christian orthodoxy. According to historian Philip Schaff, soul sleep was formulated in the mind of a fourth century pantheist named Arnobius. Since then, it has been taken up...

Finally...a question relating to the O/P :) The point of possession is to destroy the host and any opportunity of their salvation. This may transfer on to other members of their family line. Leaving this unaddressed can cause serious problems for the individual, family and community. A...

Then you must be an SDA or a Jehovah Witness...I'm gonna guess JW. ^_^ How bout we all get back on track because I think this thread has drifted considerably...Thanks!

Lutheran?
