  1. Episkopos

    Against Gnosticism

This is not written that way in the Hebrew. If you want to get into the occult passages...it is the subject of another thread and really has nothing to do with the topic at hand.
  2. Episkopos

    The Double-edged Sword

The natural man walks on this earth like that's all there is. No connection to God. So then the spiritually dead still have one kind of life. But in the Hebrew, the human life is plural. You have maybe heard the Hebrew toast...L'Chayim"...this means to lives! (more than one life) An animal...
  3. Episkopos

    The Double-edged Sword

Yes. We are regenerated because of the resurrection of Jesus through the operation of God. We have a new link up with God...and a vast potential for growth through the "Christ in us." Becoming a new creation is but the beginning of the long process of being saved entirely in our souls. It is...
  4. Episkopos

    The Double-edged Sword

Doubting is ok....but what is the basis of your doubt? Doubtfulness for no reason is a lack of reasoning. Are you unable to reason or so you have a reason to doubt?
  5. Episkopos

    The Book of Remembrance.

...and you must add to this....greatest and least in the kingdom. Faithfulness is also a continuance or steadfastness in doing what is right. Can a man look in the mirror...and then go off and forget who he is? Obviously, yes. Then these will not be as faithful as they who do remember who they...

    Against Gnosticism

I never claimed that martyrs The rest is too jumbled for me to respond. Where does it say that Samuel's spirit was summoned? Find the word "spirit" in the text. PS. The words "familiar spirit" are not in the text. They are a translation device.
  7. Episkopos

    The Double-edged Sword

We are a soul, with a body and spirit. When we are quickened by the Spirit..our spirit comes to life. We now have access to God. He can speak to us in our spirits. The power of the flesh is dealt with at the cross....but there is one more operation that is necessary...that of our own selves...
  8. Episkopos

    The Double-edged Sword

The spirit always goes back to God. We are a soul. For those who aren't sure of the difference...I have a thread called..."Against Gnosticism"
  9. Episkopos

    The Book of Remembrance.

Would you rather listen to a person who is doubtful? :) I speak what I have experienced and been shown by the Lord. If anyone can benefit by this...then that's a good thing.
  10. Episkopos

    Against Gnosticism

You'll have to actually quote what you are speaking of.
  11. Episkopos

    The Double-edged Sword

At the cross. When we are crucified with Him....
  12. Episkopos

    The Double-edged Sword

So then the sword of the Lord divides His people into three distinct groups. These are... Called but not chosen: the guests, the saved of the nations. Called and chosen but not faithful: The filthy, the rejected ones (into outer darkness) The called, chosen, and faithful: the saints.
  13. Episkopos

    The Book of Remembrance.

Actually three... Called but not chosen: the guests, the saved of the nations. Called and chosen but not faithful: The filthy, the rejected ones (into outer darkness) The called, chosen, and faithful: the saints.
  14. Episkopos

    The Double-edged Sword

The bible is very clear in many ways. But there is a lot to be found by digging deeper into the word.God also loves to hide things in His word for seekers to find. There is a huge value to diligently seeking the things of God. The hidden things bring clarity to aspects of the truth that seem...
  15. Episkopos

    Spiritual Warfare

Amen. The devil is so crafty that we might get the impression we are doing things rightly...at least for a time. We can't beat the devil at his game. We need the cross of Christ and it's power over our lives to be free of enemy infiltration into our minds.
  16. Episkopos

    Spiritual Warfare

We fulfill our own part in preparation for spiritual warfare by going to the cross. Once WE are out of the way, dealt with, THEN we can avail ourselves of the spiritual weapons that Jesus gives us through HIM going to the cross. But if we seek to make war without being dead to...
  17. Episkopos

    The Book of Remembrance.

Biblical support....always! Rev. 17:14 These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those with Him are called and chosen and faithful."
  18. Episkopos

    Sound Doctrine

This is he problem. People nowadays tend to see this as a positional doctrinal thing rather than an experiential thing.
  19. Episkopos

    The Book of Remembrance.

    Faithfulness
  20. Episkopos

    Against Gnosticism

Stick with the bible...that should be evident.
