Presumption!

You are putting words in someone's mouth. No one said what you are saying and no one here to my knowledge believes that. If you want to discuss or even just declare your beliefs at least be honest about it. Someone was referring to these verses in the scriptures, but you jumped to a conclusion...

You need to learn to use the "quote" function and talk to only one person at the time. Your generalizations as if everyone here were the same are confusing. All you have to do to reply to a person is hit both the "quote" and the "reply" buttons in the lower right corner of the post and a copy of...

"Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence." John 18:36

On another thread yesterday you told me you did not want to hear what I believed. Why is it then that you press for everyone here to listen to what you believe? "And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not...

Every one must make up his own mind. That is how God's plan for mankind works. "Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling." Phil 2:12 How does a man do that when it is not...

That which He is has written in my heart!

@My Dreams May God richly bless you and you family as well as hear your prayer for another child!

So don't be interested in my beliefs. Follow rather God. You already have my reaction to your evidence which I do not see as evidence at all but at best hearsay! I believe rather what I have heard from God!

Our homework is to pray without ceasing and to rejoice in the Lord always. For many years now I have started out every morning 7 days a week with God. Still not quite 24/7, but closer than when I first began. Any good and correct knowledge I have is according to what had given me... rather than...

It is still a picture, with no meaning for me. I heard what the nuns and priest said about those two things probably before you were old enough to go to school. God has been inscribing another vision, His vision, in my heart from 1976. I grew up a Catholic, a very devout one, as the Catholic...

God alone is more qualified than you or I in our flesh alone with regard to the things of God. Without His Spirit, we are all blind and deaf to His Word. There are lots of people quoting the Bible who do not know God at all. You may know God in a measure and it may also be that your belief in...

To me it doesn't matter what it is. If it were real it would not change anything for me any more than if it were false. I live for God and the proof Him is in my heart... not in the results any studies according to scientific method. I have never seen the shroud, only pictures in a book or on...

I only know what you said was the reason for your faith. Even if the shroud were genuine that is not the Way to God. When did you see the shroud yourself [not picture, but the actual shroud? Whose judgement of the shroud did you use to decide that it was genuine?

What does it prove to a man physically blind from birth?

The best evidence? What evidence is required for us to believe in Jesus? What are you seeing with your looking? Where from came your eyes to see? "For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith." Rom 1:17 "Now faith is the...

Surely it would not surprise you know that there are people who really do look with favor to passing of their fleshly bodies? Then again, indirectly many people selfishly choose death spiritually as they did in the Garden of Eden, do they not? Yes, and to the flesh it might seem to be a...

When I was young I traveled to many places, but I was also a different me in those days. Now I have connections here... especially my wife and she cannot. As my own body weakens that also reduces my possibilties. Yet, I do not tempt God. He can do what I cannot. Abraham said he was too old, but...

Not a wise choice, but many people over the centuries have made unwise choices. God is no respecter of persons!

May God richly bless those who love Him. May we remember the ones who believed they had something in this country worth sacrificing to keep it or to improve on it and then went ahead and gave what they had. Selfishness from the beginning has been the downfall of men. Let us pray that more people...
