Shy - Bold

You just keep on as you are doing. It is scriptural as I understand it by the Spirit. I am glad that judgment does not belong to me. I recognize my own inability to understand or fairly judge the places where I see some supposed believers. They say they love God while effectively almost...

@mychael I am responding because you addressed questions to me, but quite honestly even though I am a Bible student I don't know about all of these connections to the Zodiac. I know they exist, but I would have to look up any answers to the specific questions you raised. My focus presently is...

Even so... and each those who says they are right with their mouth is tested, but again not a theological test, but a searching of the heart by God. Not everyone has received exactly the same things from God for various reasons, but with what they have received they work, but the test is...

What ever happened to you or to me does not put anyone else necessarily in the same place. I came to God effectively knowing nothing of what the scripture really said. The Apostle Paul on the other hand, as Saul, came to God knowing the written scriptures very well. Both of us were missing the...

Loud mouth - Shy

If you really think that only people believing your doctrines have received the Holy Ghost, you have been very sheltered, with your own shields in place. While I was still active in the UPC, the very first person I met with the gift of tongues who was not a member of my assembly was a Catholic...

Inflated ego - No more blow hard

I do agree with this. My old pastor [94] gave this testimony about his father, a full-blooded Canadian Chippewa who was converted from the pagan belief of his tribe to Christianity and became a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They used to call him the Indian Healer although he never...

How about this for wiggling? Hot Air Balloon - Flat tire

Then surely you saw some good while you were there. Have you seen no evil in Oneness? I was in Oneness Jesus Only for 11 years with 3 different groups including the UPC [United Pentecostal Church]. I saw perhaps as many identifiably evil things among them as ever I did among the Catholics when I...

That works for me! Airplane - Submarine

When my neighbors witnessed to me starting 1974 by their lives, I had no experience at all with the things of God except what I recalled from my Catholic days. I had never owned or read a Bible. It was the fruit of the Spirit that attracted me, but I had not idea at time that there was such a...

Brother, no matter what any of the people here on this forum may say or insinuate, we can be certain that not one of them has the whole picture with 100% clarity. The clarity, where it does exist, on any point is in the hearts of people who are, or are to be parts of the Body of Christ. I...

Long years after I was out of the Catholic Church I looked as you did at what was taught and compared it where I could with the scriptures. In very many cases I found an openness and an honesty and full explanations of why they do according to the scriptures. This was good. I have, however...

Dragon - Nightcrawlers [Do you also see this? LOL]

You should not generalize on this point. Every man is a man, an individual, including even the Catholic priests of whom I guess you have never personally known one. I have! While I am not been a practicing Catholic for more than 50 years [for reasons not under discussion here], I still recall...

Serpent - Lamb

Objectionable - Lovable

And the new heart when led by the Holy Spirit will always do things God's Way rather than man's way. Man's problem often today is that when he really has received the Holy Spirit... instead of learning to follow the lead of the Spirit, he learns to regularly quench the Spirit. "Quench not the...
