What a crock! The things people make up on the internet out of thin air is amazing. The personal name of God is not Jesus. I suppose you don't embrace logic's proof by contradiction.

Well, that mighty list begins with Jesus himself. So, there is that.

I looked for it but could not find it. Please link it here and I'll check it out.

I believe technology changed what is the center. Starting with radio, then TV, now the internet. The proliferation of common-interest websites has produced an unprecedented decentralizing of society's across the globe. There could be a brick and mortar church building right across the street...

I look at it from the other way around. YHWH could have reconciled us to him any way he wanted due to his sovereign power. He chose a new covenant that was easiest as a manifestation of his grace, mercy and love. He did not establish a covenant that was inherently contradictory, impossible to...

Right but the fact is Jesus was a Jew, born under the law, required to believe the Shema, that YHWH alone is God. Jews don't believe in a 3in1 God. Jesus is the Jewish Messiah and there is no evidence he ever stopped being Jewish. So, there is that.

No. It's OK. I lost my son. Perhaps it was confusing when I referenced an insurance companies estimate of most stressful events, with a 2 way tie for 1st place being the death of a child or spouse. When I said I want to go back home to be with him, I was referring to my son, not my spouse...

<sigh> I understand you better than you seem to understand yourself as I've pointed out the dynamic that repeats is apparently a blind spot of yours. What you do is make assertions and when it cannot hold up to scrutiny, you back off. This whole thread is a testament to this aspect of your...

Mark, I love God. I love Jesus. I pray for the Holy Spirit multiple times each day. I love you as a brother in Christ. I pray you remain a valuable and loved contributor to this forum and enjoy the experience. It sounds like debating is wearing on you. Your assertions are not being greeted as...

I don't know. Some threads don't interest me. So, I do not post in them. If these debates are actually a concern to you, consider letting them be active without your participation. As one church I went to said. Give until it feels good, not until it hurts. I just thank God that not everyone...

So said the less tolerant Pharisee's to Jesus.

Well, more to the point, an active forum sells. If 80% of the forum activity is on a given topic, why would a self-interested forum act to undermine it's own success of attracting potential customers?

No, you are not simply quoting what the website itself says. And you do this Mark. You make assertions then back off when they don't hold up to scrutiny.

No. Look into Ayn Rand's notion of an Anti-concept. The most important purpose of anti-concepts is to erode one's capacity to reason. There are such things as invalid concepts. When one integrates invalid concepts into the world view, it erodes ones confidence in existence and especially in...

By way of comparison, Pluto was recently officially demoted as a planet in our solar system. I am more passionate about this than most and can debate the topic. Yet, I realize and accept that Pluto has been officially demoted as a planet in our solar system.

Mark, that does not answer my question. IF the purpose of the unorthodox forum was merely for debate, it would not exist, but be rolled into the debate forum. Seems to me you have realized that your debate tactics have failed miserably and so have decided to take a different tact; Appeal to...

One would suppose Matthew 1:1 states the hypostatic union, the way trinitarians put it.

What year was that creed issued?

I think final 6, with him coming in 2028 (but I hope you are right),

A lot of politically incorrect references to his manhood.
