Why I could personally never chose to be Catholic

Nope. NOW - would you care to elaborate on your earlier comment: "of course not, you just ignore those parts lol."

    Baptism question that seems unbiblical

I already proved you were wrong and presented almost a DOZEN Protestant scholars to support my position. You have NOT yet rebutted that evidence. I don't need to go back and re-read your responses because there weren't any. A debate is a series of positions and rebuttals. If you're unable to...

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

Right. I know I’m sealed – PROVIDED I don’t fall away. The word “Apostasy” comes from the Greek word ἀποστασία (ap-os-tas-ee'-ah), which means to “Fall away” or “repudiate” from a deeply-held position. We see this word in 2 Thess. 2:3, where the 2nd Coming of Christ is being spoken of. It says...

    Baptism question that seems unbiblical

Soooooo, you're basically running away from the evidence I presented, showing almost a DOZEN Protestant scholars and theologians who support the idea that Peter is the "Rock" in Matt. 16:18. WHY are you so afraid to address this evidence?? WHY do you keep falsely claiming that you already...

Why I could personally never chose to be Catholic

Nice try. However, as we see just a few verses later when the Ark arrives - David is leaping and dancing with utter JOY before the Ark. He is not cowering in fear. As for what the Ark carried - It contained the Tablets of the Law, a jar of Manna and the Aaron's staff., which are all SYMBOLS...

Why I could personally never chose to be Catholic

Drinking from the cup is not mandatory as the Real Presence isn't limited to the Cup. Jesus is present Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity in BOTH species.

    Care to elaborate??

This post doesn't make any sense.

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

Yup - and a LOT of that has been happening since the 16th century . . .

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

Ummmm, the ONLY one here who is "challenging" the Lord is YOU because you insist on inventing doctrines that have NOTHING to do with the context of Scripture. OSASers are absolutists, in that they take one or two verses and build a doctrine around them, proclaiming them as "absolute truth" -...

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

I AM reading it in context. If anything - YOU are avoiding the context here. Romans 8 has NOTHING to do with walking away from God. It is about nobody being able to strip you away from Him - and I agree with that. If I walk away from God - it is MY choice and MY fault - even if I am being led...

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

Before the Law – there was sin. Sin entered the world through Adam (Rom. 5:12, 1 Cor. 15:21). People got drunk, engaged in sexual immorality, stole and murdered – and these were ALL sins. Sin reigned over the world and that’s Why God destroyed the world in the Flood. These sins were not...

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

I see that you're STILL having difficulty addressing the Scriptural proof I gave you that destroys OSAS. You keep repeating the same tired drivel in these long angry rants - but you jut don't get it. A gift can be received. A gift can be rejected. A gift can be received - and later thrown away...

Sooooo, show me how 1 John 2:24 is "figurative" and not literal.

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

WRONG. Read it again: 1 John 2:24 See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. IF it does, you also will REMAIN in the Son and in the Father. He is saying, "IF what you have learned remains in in you - you WILL remain in the Son and the Father." He is NOT saying, "What you...

    Baptism question that seems unbiblical

Why are you so averse to showing what the final disposition by the authorities in the Roman Church was concerning Kung. Are you ashamed of what they did or did not do? I did address the Protestant scholars. Go back to page 18 and start with post #345. What I argue there will be the same to...

Uh-huh. Now, tell me how this verse debunks the DOZEN or so passages I used to destroy your man made fairy tale of OSAS.

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

And yet, you can't provide any Scriptural proof for this - can you??
  19. BreadOfLife

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

You're missing the ENTIRE point of these passages. The fact that a name can be "blotted out" of the Book of Life means that they were ON there before and then erased. You cannot be "blotted" out if you weren't ON the list before. There is not ONE SINGE verse in ALL of Scripture that proclaims...

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

Wrong. They KNOW He is THE Savior - just not theirs because their fate is sealed. This passage is referring to tribulation saints inside the 70th week that come to faith after rapture. The rules don't "change" for the Tribulations saints. Their salvation is as conditional as OURS is. Out...
