Herein @Jane_Doe22 shows more of the charity/love of I Corinthians chapter 13 than her accusers according to what I am able to see. "Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked...

Oh yes! My only full brother married a Mormon lady and when I visited them in Georgia in about 1970 and I went through their entire study for new converts. At that time they [my brother and his wife] gave me a leather bound Book of Mormon including the Doctrine of Covenants and the Pearl of...

Your points are well taken except you neglect the ability of God to know all of the circumstances and to fill in any gaps or correct any apparent errors when appropriate. No one whose heart is directed toward God, that is toward the Truth of God, will go far astray. People go astray because of...

On this thread, yes. On other threads you have expressed a disregard for the KJV in particular. On one thread without addressing me directly you repeated my quoted KJV verses with the same verses from another translation. Was your purpose intended only to help others understand better? You...

Hell is the place to which Jesus was sent to be born of Mary.

Right on it my friend! Ahh, but how many tares would recognize what they are and if they did would openly admit it here?

You have totally ignored what I posted. When a door is opened by a person then walk through it. Do not force the door open as if you had such authority. God has never worked in such a manner. He does not use strong arm tactics nor does He ever force feed anyone. Are you working to be like Him...

What you say is so, but don't presume to say that what is best for you is necessarily best for everyone else. We are, or should be, led in our walk with God by the Holy Spirit. Let the Holy Spirit in a person be the Helper, the one that assists, so that our growth is best as God sees it for us...

Is your own walk with God so flawless as that? What you have said here with regard to the Mormons could effectively be said with regard to every religious organized group claiming to be Christian. Anyone who follows God ONLY according the precisely literal black and white rules of his own...

Thank you, but this won't move me from reading the KJV as my primary English Bible. There's nothing in the article I haven't read previously but it is a good refresher and I would not discourage people from reading it, in spite of my preference. Note that my preference is NOT due to a belief...

"Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do... " Luke 23:34 But perhaps some of them do... know that is.

Perhaps David speaking to his son, the next king, described the perfection God seeks in men with the words, "a perfect heart": "And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and...

And of course you also deny what Apostle Paul wrote to us hear under the anointing of God? "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of...

And even true prophets in the OT such as the unnamed prophet who was sent out of Judah onto Jeroboam the king of Israel, have suffered death for their own errors, but their prophecies remained valid! "And he cried against the altar in the word of the LORD, and said, O altar, altar, thus saith...

As I explained to you once before, Dave, you also at times are a prophet of God. When any of us speaks even a measure of God's truth does it not ultimately come from God. That is what prophecy really is. It may well include predictions, but too many people at that possible aspect only. When we...

Thanks! I do check myself regularly by reading all of the Bible in three languages [including Spanish] continuously. When any doubt or question arises I do have resources both on paper as well as online that I use. Of course often these resources still do not suffice. Before and after every...

Joining in prayer for Frank!

I am only on the edge of understanding your point. You apparently want to make the distinction between faith and belief as per the original language, but while the English KJV uses both words quite a bit, the German in most cases uses only one: Glauben… whether it is derived from pisteuo or not...

When Adam and Eve disobeyed God every person was dead. All of their offspring were born dead. Then Jesus arrived and the Holy Spirit was poured out... and it proceeds from there: "For many are called, but few are chosen." Matt 22:14 Only a few chosen and perhaps even less both chosen and...

Is it not according to what we eat and what we drink? Those who eat his flesh and drink his blood will obtain Life, real Life, rather than the death that all of us started with. Is it the "faithful" who eat and drink to obtain Life? In doing so, do they become "believers"? "Then Jesus said unto...
