A pharisee could quote verbatim the whole of the OT. Yet they proved by their unbelief they knew nothing of what they posted Anyone can post a verse, or a group of verses..

who errs from truth? But those who do not believe. Does a true believer err from truth (Speaking of the gospel here. Not non salvation doctrines such as prophecy and other stuff) how could they have been saved if they erred from truth? Remember, Not everyone in James audience is saved. He...

when you say it is up to you. You remove God from the picture and you insert yourself. God saved us when we became bankrupt in spirit. We came to the bottom. Like the tax collector. we got on our knees and called out to God in faiht. because we realized the truth about our separation from God...

1 verse. The bible was not written in chapter and verse form. That should tell us about trying to use one verse and its fatal flaw.

Amen!

We do care what they say. We just do not interpret them as you do.

Yes we are saved IN CHRIST Who puts is UN CHRIST? Who keeps us IN CHRIST. What kind of security would I have if I had to fear I could lose salvation? I could have no security. John told he we can KNOW we have life eternal. and it is this bases of knowing we are eternally secure which keeps...

Imagine if he had that passion for the true gospel..

We have no unity my friend.

he does not get it. The ark did not save anyone, It proved the guilt of the people (the ten commands, Arron's Rod and the manna) what saved them and caused atonement was the animal who was sacrificed and the blood that "covered" the ark. when God looked on the ark,. He say the blood. not the...

I think Jesus gave us a clue "when you see the abomination of desolation STANDING IN THE HOLY PLACE. An abomination of desolation is an idol. or unclean thing that renders a holy place desolate. It not that they holy place is destroyed (as in 70 AD) it is that it is unclean. And whatever...

I will let you continue on in your belief. there is no need in going further. There is but one baptism, one lord and one faith Your pastor can not baptize you into Christ or his death or hid body. Only God can. Good day sir.. You can post alot of bible. But so could the pharisees.. Only they...

Both of those passages speak of spirit baptism not water. It speaks of being baptized INTO one body (not water) And being Baptized INTO CHRIST. Again not water.

Not water baptism Water baptism gets you wet. Spirit baptism is what saves, Thats why John said he who comes will baptize with the spirit. If you want to have faith in water. Thats fine. But don’t judge us who have faith in God.

I think the best way is to let scripture interpret scripture. If you see a contradiction. Or what you think is one. Look for interpretations of the passage they are not contradictory. In doing so. You will most likely find the truth. In most heresy doctrines. They use verses which contradict...

Praying. Hope you feel better soon. And you find out what is causing it.

How do these verses outdo all the verses which state we have security in christ. That we have eternal life (not conditional) that we have been given every blessing. And that salvation is a gift. Not a reward? If those verses are translated like you translate them. Then all the other verses are...

Your water baptism will no more wash one sin that the OT rite of circumcision washed one sin of the OT saints. It is the baptism of God that saved, the washing and renewal of the spirit. The Bible does nto say the penalty of sin is being baptized. it says it is death. On;y be being immersed in...

there are two ways to get to heaven according to scripture 1. The law (works) Moses, Paul and James gave us the requirement if we are to get to heaven this way. Jesus said it best, when he went over the law as a means of righteousness "be perfect as your heavenly faith is perfect" 2. Grace...
