The Only Problem With The Trinity

Friend, it is the precise opposite! Nowhere in the Bible is there a doctrinal purity test. You are just inventing it. "If you don't believe X, you cannot call yourself Y." Go Z yourself. :D

    The Unity of God: Oneness

I'm really glad you started this thread as I've been thinking about it a lot lately, particularly as it pertains to denomination and other differences of opinion. I think too many today falsely equate unity with the end of both, denomination and differing opinion. The best example in the Bible...

Why The Apostles Repeatedly Disobeyed the Risen Lord

Nice assertion. Yet many claim different doctrines. IF you want to claim your doctrine is not found in Scripture but was divinely revealed to you, just say that.

The Only Problem With The Trinity

I'm OK with that! As another poster pointed out, Jesus did not teach the doctrine of the trinity. I'll just follow Christ and the Bible without imposing trinitarian doctrine onto the unitarian text. Call me what you will. Thanks. Peace.

    Universe Vs Multiverse !

The basic problem is scientists end up abusing concepts etymological expression of words as new theories and evidence emerge. “Atom” means indivisible but was applied to the wrong existent. The one word that means ‘all everything’ is universe. The idea that there are multiple ‘all everything’s...

The Only Problem With The Trinity

Wrong. I’m just not falling for your attempts at Diversion.

The Only Problem With The Trinity

The Father alone is identified as God many, many times. Not once is God identified as the Son or the Holy Spirit. It is more proper to say that God identified Jesus. In Mark 10:40, Jesus does not say Father but God - in his unitarian nature - decides who will sit on Jesus’ left and right. I...

    Sola Scriptura

You do realize that the word became flesh, not God, right? Also, the word of God becomes flesh with every prophet.

Scriptures that trinitarians Don't Want You to Know About - #5, Book of Acts

Pure anti-Biblical assertion. The Bible says Jesus died. No qualifier is added, flesh, spirit, etc. The Bible says Jesus is a man and like every other man, he died.

    Faith alone?

What a low standard. The trinity is not there at all - by name or doctrine. Naming Moe, Larrry and Curly does not mean they make up a 3-is-1 being. More than that it does not say ANYTHING about them being co-substantial, co-eternal or co-equal. Finally, there is nothing in Lk 1:35 that means if...

Scriptures that trinitarians Don't Want You to Know About - #5, Book of Acts

No where in the Bible does it say anything like that. The Bible tells us that Jesus is the son of God. One thing you can bet your life on is the son is not the father, Jesus is not God.

Scriptures that trinitarians Don't Want You to Know About - #5, Book of Acts

You are repeating yourself. There are 2 ways to be wrong, if you do or don’t. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that Jesus is God, let alone that you have to believe Jesus is God as a condition to be saved. By contrast, the 1C is explicit. You shall have no other God’s before me. Trinitarians...

Scriptures that trinitarians Don't Want You to Know About - #5, Book of Acts

And you don't think there is any chance of offending God by constantly violating the 1st Commandment?

    Sola Scriptura

I already proved it. Others already proved it. You are just not accepting the proof. Said differently, what proof would you accept?

    Sola Scriptura

That’s a wonderful point in your spiritual journey. My advice? Pray about it and one thing more. Focus less on doctrine, which is intellectual. Focus more on discerning the Spirit. Where do you most feel the presence of God? I go to a Spirit led church. A friend of mine out of town went to a...

    Sola Scriptura

Thanks for the kind words. 'going strictly by the bible' is just my paraphrasing Sola Scriptura. Mungo says that is unbiblical. What a hostile and lost soul he is who desperately needs our prayers. Christ died for the likes of him.

    Sola Scriptura

What in God's green Earth are you talking about? In this thread, I believe we are allies. Just because my angle of attack/defense is different from yours does not mean there is false reporting, friend. Consider the opposing principles: The early bird gets the worm. The 2nd mouse gets the...

    Sola Scriptura

You are so lost. In your estimation, going strictly by the bible is not biblical.

    Sola Scriptura

For a man of faith, you are intent on establishing proof. Odd that?
