Yes they were hebrew. Required by the roman empire to learn and be affluent in Greek, This started with the greek empire. and continued with the roman empire. The common language of all people in the roman empire was koine greek. It is a well known fact that most of the NT was originally...

People who do not have faith are called antichrists. 1 John 2: 22 Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. And he said they were never saved 1 John 2: 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been...

  5. Eternally Grateful

Saved people dont lose faith. God does not give them a reason to. We lose faith when the person who has gained our trust proves untrustworthy. If you think we can lose faith. You must doubt Gods faithfulness

Its amazing how they scream at a greek word (epignoses) must mean this. (which it does mean what they say) Yet when it comes to the word everlasting/eternal, the greek word which means never ending, without end, everlasting or eternal. does not mean what it says..

You can believe what you want. But in context. Your wrong It says they received knowledge. Not that they received salvation they are two separate things. Not to mention. The rest of scripture goes against this interpretation.

Epignosis is a mute point. It says they RECEIVED FULL KNOWLEDGE of the gospel. (in this sense. Epignosis fits, as full complete knowledge) Nothing in the text says they accepted it or placed their faith in it. It is like you go to class and receive full knowledge (epignosis) of a subject...

Divine Justification: greatly misunderstood or greatly misrepresented

What you do not understand is as James said, if we keep all the law yet STUMBLE in one point, we are guilty of all sin unto death is a person who dies as a result of a sin, example would be drinking and driving which led to a persons death a sin not unto death would be a sin where death did...

Divine Justification: greatly misunderstood or greatly misrepresented

I believe in the power of God I also believe in reality, if being born again made everyone sinless, there would never be a babe in Christ, like the corinthian church who still struggled with certain besetting sins, paul would also not say he co it used to run the race because he had nothing...

  14. Eternally Grateful

Divine Justification: greatly misunderstood or greatly misrepresented

If only our past sins are forgiven, we have no hope the next time we sin, because Jesus paid for sins 2000 years ago, which means any future sins are unredeemable

Divine Justification: greatly misunderstood or greatly misrepresented

This is false teaching itself if we say we have no sin we decieved ourselves. Teaching one can be sinless is teaching one to be deceived we are holy because he is holy. We will not be glorified until our death, until then we are being sanctified, while we are perfected by that one sacrifice.

That’s interesting, I was an independent Baptist for almost 30 years. We always believed In Eternal, security, I have never met a Baptist in my travels through the United States that rejects eternal security, so again, using your line of reasoning, should I call you a Jew or Catholic? please...

Koine Greek was the language of the people in christs day, everyone spoke it, so if you were writting a letter to everyone you would write in in Greek, the NT was not translated to Greek, their is an OT translated into the Greek, but it also was done so everyone could read it, because the OT...
