    The Case Against the Trinity

In today's devotional reading, I read the most inspiring verse to me in all of Scripture, where Jesus states the purpose of his ministry in reading from Isaiah at Luke 4:18. 18 “The Spirit of Adonai is upon me; therefore he has anointed me to announce Good News to the poor; he has sent me to...

A Question About The Death and Resurrection of Christ

Yes. I think you need to consider his death and resurrection as 2 distinct events. DEATH: His death is the ultimate, the purpose of the existence of the Messiah. It balanced the equation set wrong by Adam, who sinned in a perfect world. Jesus, sinless, died FOR a fallen world. His atoning...

    The Case Against the Trinity

The other bizarre aspect to this idolatry is talking about love, love God, love your neighbor, etc. As soon as you suggest rejecting the man-is-God thesis, the vitriol, resorting to threats and insults come out. Even if so, 2 does not a trinity make. What do you think about my observation that...

A Christian who deny Jesus is God in Flesh

What concerns me is there are 5 states of matter. Trinitarians be like, "It's like the 3 foot groups or three vegetables or 3 meats." I be like: There is more than 3 in each category. Trinitarians be like ... crickets ... getting back to the 3 kids on the Brady Bunch and didn't you ever...

    The Case Against the Trinity

I’m glad you are invoking maybe, like the other poster invoked ‘can.’ Their entire proposition is speculative, like you can understand it as water or an egg. The other day was St Patrick’s Day. The shamrock is 3. Then when I introduce things that are >3, they get all indignant. I’m not playing...

A Christian who deny Jesus is God in Flesh

Yet, he is referred to in the singular 5,000 times in the Bible. That could mean he is not any kind of plural.

    Mary’s children?

See my last post. I’ve already answered this question many times. If you cannot discern figurative from literal language, bless your heart.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

I like this point but realize the 'want' of God does not necessarily translate to Him over-riding people's will to remain unrepentant.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

It's not the Bible's claim, it's people alive today. It's not what work meant in that culture but what people today mean by work. The false teachings are: We do not have to do anything for our salvation. Children/babies/infants or the like are damned because they are ignorant of the work needed...

    Mary’s children?

Nothing funny about pretending my argument is weaker than it is. Nothing in the Bible says Mary is a perpetual virgin. Words have meaning. Brother means biological. Other meanings are figurative. When employing figurative use of language, words can mean whatever you want, like Solomon's temple...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Because equality is evil and not fair. Fair is playing by the rules. They are God’s Rules.

A Christian who deny Jesus is God in Flesh

I guess we will have to STRONGLY disagree on what the faulty document is.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

"Calling on the Lord" = A work we must do to be saved. Since some don't do this work, Jesus is not saving everyone.

A Christian who deny Jesus is God in Flesh

You are maligning the far superior manuscripts found after the KJV was written.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Seems like you are rooted in justice rather than grace. More to the point, you are putting yourself in the position of God. If you read Job, God does not explain himself. It does not come down to knowledge, knowing why. Rather it comes down to trust. When all of the other gods have come...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

As demonstrated by the absence of a verse from Scripture.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

My point is contradictions do not exist in reality. Either Jeremiah was right in putting the law onto our hearts or you are right in some men do not thirst for God.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

You are turning from the point. The point is not about the unrepentant. It is recognizing that repenting is the work we have to do to be saved.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

There is no benefit in speculating beyond Scripture.

    Why Do People Become Atheists?

What I say to such people is yes, there is evil and world has its problem but there is also good and beauty in this world. I am reminded every time I see appreciation, a plant blooming and when I look into the eyes of my grandchildren. Amen.
