  1. Eternally Grateful

entire sanctification is an obtainable goal.

See, Here you go again preaching works. The apostles did tell them (CHILDREN OF GOD WHO WERE SAVED ALREADY) to put on the whole armor Its like your mountain climbing example They were dead because of sin, God raised them from the dead (spiritually) (and you, he made alive, who were dead in...

    What Changed?

Is, open, but where are the last two in scripture?
  3. Eternally Grateful

entire sanctification is an obtainable goal.

Mark 2:17 When Jesus heard it, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, torepentance.” jesus did not come to call the righteous to climb the mountain he came to raise the dead (sick) so they...
  4. Eternally Grateful

entire sanctification is an obtainable goal.

Yeah they did, because it’s a false teaching God does not save the strong he rescues the weak. as Jesus said, he came for the poor and the sick, people who could never make it up that hill your trying to climb

How Far Will They Go Before Action is Taken?

The church at Ephesus was not a building it was a community of believers in the city of Ephesus, or whatever city they belonged to
  6. Eternally Grateful

entire sanctification is an obtainable goal.

This really bothers me it suggests only those who are strong enough to make it to the top of the hill or mountain will be saved. While the weak, who can not make it, have no hope, Because they will fail to make it to the top, hence fail to be saved.
  7. Eternally Grateful

entire sanctification is an obtainable goal.

how do you get this from scripture? I need saved because I am dead. a dead person can't do any works, You cannot work UNTIL you are first saved That is what worries me about you..
  8. Eternally Grateful

entire sanctification is an obtainable goal.

See thats the problem Take your example. rock climbing, You were given all the tools right? But you have to WORK YOURSELF to get to the top. You here are basing your getting to the top on your works. (and you tell me you are not promoting works??) Salvation is this way Your dead. You can't...

  10. Eternally Grateful

entire sanctification is an obtainable goal.

You said my reply about you claiming I have missed the point And now you reply It seems i have missed what you said, and am not understanding. lol.. I agree, someone here is misunderstanding, But its not me..
  11. Eternally Grateful

I gave the definition of atonement and how it is accomplished. What you are promoting here is legalistic works based atonement based on mans deeds, not on What God will accept
  12. Eternally Grateful

entire sanctification is an obtainable goal.

I have not missed anything John said a believer/child of God can not live in sin I take John at his word. His word is applicable to gnostics, Christians, Non Christians, Pagans, You name it, It applies to them.
  13. Eternally Grateful

entire sanctification is an obtainable goal.

ok Gods justice requires a payment for sin That payment is death If someone else does not redeem you of what you owe god (death) then you will pay that payment on your own. In a place called hell Because once you physically die, The ability of you being able to recieve the atonement of...
  14. Eternally Grateful

entire sanctification is an obtainable goal.

I shared the definition of atonement, as taken from Hebrew dictionaries and lexicons. It says these sacrifices are required for atonement. It days nothing about all the works you want to add. The reason we need to have sacrifice is we FAIL to keep the commands you say we need to keep. As...

sorry friend, I do not understand what you said here
  16. Eternally Grateful

    Fear God or Presume acceptance

Jesus tells us how to do this 1. The law of love 2. Seek after the things of the spirit Jesus said come to me and I will give you rest. And let him take our yoke. Well we have done this..
  17. Eternally Grateful

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

Its not so easy All we need for proof is to see how every major religion on earth preaches a gospel of Works. Including most mainstream Christian churches.. If it was so easy. There would be more people placing their faith in God based on the cross, and less people basing their faith on their...
  18. Eternally Grateful

entire sanctification is an obtainable goal.

This Gnostic excuse is meaningless John said a child born of God can not live in sin, BECAUSE he has been born of God (he gives the reason, He has been born empowered by God) People who deny the power of being born of God, then blast people who not only understand it, But have experienced it...
  19. Eternally Grateful

entire sanctification is an obtainable goal.

Justice has a price.. The penalty of sin is death (spiritual) Ths only DEATH can atone for sin. If anyone think God is going to show them mercy because they play religion. They will be in serious trouble on judgment day
  20. Eternally Grateful

entire sanctification is an obtainable goal.

We have mercy, Because of sacrifice Justice can not just be set aside, Payment must be made. If Gods love could satisfy his justice without payment, Jesus would have stayed in heaven.
