Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

The truth is I just don't know any more. I don't know what is ok and not ok in some areas. I can pray and read the Bible but I have a lot of questions that I want answering when I get to Heaven. The Old Testament had clearly outlined laws and rules for the Israelites because maybe that's what...

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

I apologize if my comparison was offensive I just thought of an example of justified sin and I have heard of that one so I used it. I appreciate your kind words and hope you can know I mean nothing by it, no legalism or so on

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

This is a tough one. In all honesty I've found that the more I dig the more questions I have. I feel I could go into all types of tangents here, I will address a few. You have when Paul says (I am paraphrasing from memory) "Those lead by the spirit are not under the law." and also "One person...

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

I will address your question and not Addy's because they are being quite rude. I apologize if me having an opinion is not acceptable as if I'm "everyone and their dog having a say" I thought this was a Christian forum but ok. Anyways as far as what you're asking the verse is in Leviticus where...

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

What would you do if you were in my shoes and read such a testimony, and what would you do if it was true? Would you not share? It's not easy for me to share such an unpopular opinion I could've much easier said nothing at all but this thread asked so I answered. I'm not saying Jesus can't be...

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

Why are you so mad? Sin is equally sin in God's eyes, there is no greater or lesser sin it is all bad to God, and we should ask forgiveness for it whatever it is.

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

That's a common excuse to break the command about tattoos, but keep in mind it also is a command not to steal, not to murder, do we still follow those? We could nitpick at what we should and should not do I am only telling you the testimony I read. Whether you choose to believe it is up to you...

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

I know it's hard to believe and I had a hard time believing it too. I think you could compare it to people saying they can have sex before marriage because they love their partner and are treating them as if they are married. What I'm saying is that if something is wrong it is wrong despite...

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

I wouldn't say fight it but I wouldn't say ignore it. The options seem a bit extreme. I don't support tattoos because long story short not only did God speak against it (there had to have been a reason) but also I read a testimony where Jesus showed someone hell and that people were there for...

God changed Seventh Day Sabbath Worship to First Day of the Week

The sabbath was Old Testament law, and The Lord rose from the dead on the first day of the week, aka "The Lord's Day". If you refuse to see the significance in Jesus fulfilling the law and creating a new way to be a believer aka not needing to sacrifice when we sin etc then fine but Jesus's day...

US Supreme Court 5-4 Allows Ban On Abortions In Texas, After Heartbeat Is Detected

I 100% agree and I was born to a 19 year old Mom who had friends tell her to get an abortion. For all you people claiming that abortions are needed for rape cases those make up only 2% of all abortions, so rape aside I believe both men and women should have a say it's not just a woman's choice...

    Jesus Second Coming

The people of the old testament didn't immediately go to Heaven it wasn't until Jesus died that He was sufficient to pay for the sins of both before and after Jesus died and rose again

    Jesus Second Coming

While it is true that God's wrath is serious and for some is forever JESUS comes back for His church for eternal life. I don't think we need to dwell on the negative side of Christ's return rather than the positive side: the beginning of eternal life shortly afterwards.
