This pastor got it right, a while back I did a word search on the word tolerance in the scriptures. God may be long suffering and patient but he never engaged in tolerance. There is time to repent and then judgment. That is all.!!

In answer to the original question. When you do actually get baptised by the Holy spirt you will know it. It feels like getting anointed with oil that runs down to the soles of your feet and then bounces back up again. In my case it happened quite a few years after being baptised in water.
